I still sieve that Renegades will suck and won't actually redeem Destiny 2 like everyone hoped for. And because it's still a Star Wars themed expansion, I still hate it. Star Wars was never a good franchise whatsoever, and I just see this a complete downgrade of what a good sci-fi adventure is supposed to be about. Especially because there's still no Bray Tech, Deep Stone Crypt, Seventh Seraph, or Black Armory content whatsoever.
Ugh... because of that, I do feel like finally quitting Destiny 2 for good. I can't see the campaign being good - which wouldn't matter anyway because I don't know what the story of Destiny 2 has been after The Final Shape, especially because I still have no idea what happened in that story since I gave up on it so close in the beginning - I only care about getting those new pulse rifles to add to my collection - which why did there needed to be a new pulse in Trials of Osiris? Why do you hate me, Bungie? Your PvP game mode is the worst ever, so why make me go through more torture? Why? Anyway, I also want to spend some time getting that Arc Sweet Business from the new dungeon, which I still hope won't be like Vesper's Host where it's difficult and unfun on purpose. But that's it.
I seriously don't care about anything else in the game since it became unfun and disastrous all year, and I'm finally getting sick and tired of it. I may do Dawning, but only as an excuse for collecting more resources, and I don't know how they're going to ruin Guardian Games next year since I'm very passionate about Guardian Games. But other than that, I think it's time for me to finally quit.
I never wanted to quit Destiny 2 because I kept holding out on hope. But all I see is now in Renegades is more disappointment, disaster, and false hope.
