It was a good idea but needs a few things ironed out for next time.

Brilliantly written, poorly executed. Typical Bungo. It could’ve been done by preferred class just like the Guardian Games event. That way you’d have 3 individual competitive buckets and several sub genres within those 3 categories to possibly delve into further. Alas, that was not to be.
-
4 AntwortenThe idea of the competition wasn’t necessarily bad as usual, the execution is lacking. The game, especially when it comes to cheating was already not in a great place the last thing you need was push the competitive aspect. PvP Call to Arms is a joke.
-
Especially at a time with the lowest player count ever lol
-
This was a bad idea in the first place especially after the drama behind both raids yet they decided to host this kind of event. Yea it sounds good on paper but if you can't keep cheating in check and do the event right it all falls apart.
-
Isn't it great when the other players make the game worse for you? Amazing.
-
It was all about people with power level 470 and above like every thing else. Again about grind and disrespecting player's time. Again a brain dead decision by Bungie.

1 AntwortenIs there anything this community won’t complain about? I’m sure if they started giving away all the cosmetics for free people would still complain.
-
3 AntwortenI don’t know what I’m missing here. I matchmade for coil and got top 30%. Ran Salt Mines without maxing everything with 5 or 4s, top 30%. I suck at PvP so whatever the second bar is. Heliostat matchmade 30%. Top 1% proving grounds through fireteam finder. 335 points. I’ve played maybe three hours the past three nights? Are you following the guides for what matters in each thing? Kill everything in fireteam ops but also be fast Be fast and complete objectives in Pinnacle Speed and objectives in solo ops

Few days and nobody even remembers the whole thing.

Personally the community scoring is fine It's a proper leaderboard see where people are standing It generates competition and play... its bungos ....lack of thought out implementation that's the problem..... But also to be fair the top players should be rewarded for being top players It's.. always the implementation... it's doable and it's doable in a fair way...
-
2 AntwortenYou know the funny thing is? By the time the event ends, 1 of 2 things might happen. 1. They'll give the helmet to almost everyone who participated and got in the top 1-10% 2. Or will there be some sort of way to obtain it down the road. Might even be a season pass reward or something. So, only the emblem will be exclusive. And then all that grind, complaining, and trying to make sense of what bungie is doing would be all for nothing. The problem is, we still come back to the same shii we complain about.
-
2 AntwortenSeen a comment on YT that they could have made this a community event, so aim for bigger scores so everyone can add theirs to a single massive community score to get the same gear. Would have been more enjoyable as everyone can contribute no matter what their light level is and still have a nice way to quickly level up.
-
Hate to burst your little bubble, but Datto vigorously disagrees, bud.
-
Adding leaderboards is fine. But for only 6 activities and calling it an event drives the point that bungie can't make quality content anymore.
-
Its only good for me to help power level up 😂
-
It doesn’t suck imo, just that they chose a terrible time to do an event like this at an all time low player counts.
-
2 AntwortenIs that what's making the score go down instead of up? I have no understanding of this scoring system and I feel like I'm going mad trying to figure out how to get to 100 as it keeps going down and doesn't go up.
-
You can count on Bungie to make a dogs dinner out of a promising concept. ;)
-
6 AntwortenI don't mind completing fairly, but now with cheats and carry services offer placement its kinda bunk. Plus those under 550 reporting higher scores than those @ 550 is another head scratcher. I mean a 1-2% difference under 550 would seem more reasonable but I'm hearing some under 550 are scoring 5-10% more than a 550. That sees backwards. But its Bungie logic....
