Trials (and most everything else) is very unrewarding
For the first time in 10 years, I really am not enjoying the game. The entire experience is unrewarding.
Tier 1 helmet. Tier 1 machine gun. Lighthouse with a 3 win streak. So not worth the hot garbage of Trials. At least I used to get an Adept. I even pushed my guardian rank to 6 thinking it would help.
Big pile of Nope.
May as well go back to Flawless cards if that’s how it’s going to be. At least then my expectations would be kept in check.
Got the weapons once. Got the armor set. Think I’m good. Have fun chasing Tier One my fellow guardians.

38 AntwortenYeah frankly I think it's f****** bugged because when you are guardian rank 9 all of your rewards even in the portal and arms week it's capped at tier 4.. If you do conquest or you do the mystic weekly mission your drops are tier 5... Bungee has made it clear that your higher tirr drops is based on your level and your rank they explained same will apply to Solstice.

Bro even funnier, my friends are in the 300+ category, they are getting Tier 4 gear. Meanwhile we went flawless. What did I get for pumping a total of 6 hours into trials? Tier 3...thats my highest...we did so much effort for what? Tiers being light level locked? Why?

Where's the loot? They removed the ability to farm so many weapons and didn't replace them with better ones.

This is the most unfulfilling, unrewarding season ever. Like theres no reason to do strikes, gambit(lmao), crucible, or trials. No reward tracks, no reputation rank ups, no vendor loot, nothing. Like who thought “all those activity based drops that could be focused at the vendor, let’s remove that.” I played around 15+ trials matches or more to be dunked on by cheaters until 7 wins with a 3 win streak for 2 tier 3s at the lighthouse. Im 400 power and guardian rank 9. It’s a pathetic joke. This game is a shitshow now.

Just like with Arms Week, Bungie really should have waited to start these limited times events. Tier Rewards are tied to your Guardian Rank, and the average player won't be high enough to get worthwhile gear three weeks in. Solstice is tomorrow, and I guarantee the response is going to be exactly the same. People won't get high Tier Rewards due to their low Guardian Rank, and complain how a limited timed event isn't rewarding.

1 AntwortenIncreased time to complete an event provides an increased quantity of rewards, but do nothing to increase the quality of rewards. Doing a half hour Onslaught and getting a bunch of Tier 1 and Tier 2 gear doesn't feel great, even if it's a very high [b]quantity[/b] of low Tier gear, the low [b]quality[/b] still feels like a bummer. Longer runs shouldn't just provide improved quantity of loot, but it should at least provide slightly improved quality. We're not just looking for general loot, we're not just looking for light levels, we're looking for actual upgrades. I'm fine with Guardian Ranks and Light Levels providing a boost to higher Tiers, I think that makes sense, but there should also be some guarantees at lower levels that we're not wasting our time in these events. I don't do Trials, but if you get to the end of Trials, you should be rewarded with something better than two tokens and a Tier 2, regardless of Guardian Rank or Light Level.
