I have a couple buddies that were down to try D2 with the new expansion (primarily PvP) (they played before sunsetting way back) They were excited about the fact that they could have competitive kits in PvP as soon as they jumped in. I.e. banshee rose, compass rose, and redrix estoc…. So they were going to have the option of 2 loadouts right away. Now… what should I tell them? Sunsetting basically happened again? Shax doesn’t even have comp weapons for sale anymore… All new armor and broken ttks? Even the brave arsenal was low barrier good gun options Is D2 even interested in new players? Or are we just slowly bleeding players and catering to PvE sweats? Adjusting difficulty for remaining player base…. Then increasing difficulty bleeding the remaining low end %10….increasing difficulty…. New slow %10 low bleed- increase difficulty and scarcity…. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat
