Having the archetype and the random rolled stat dependent on the rolled perks is a great way to bring the old items into Armor 3.0; however, this is very restrictive when you want stats that don't align with the perks. My suggestion would be to make it so we're able to focus a perk for both slot 1 and 2 simultaneously while having the stats randomly roll like any other drop. You could also make the focusing guarantee that class items will drop with those perks for less RNG or continue to only allow us to focus one perk at a time, literally anything is better than being locked to specific stats with your perks.
