Banned
i was banned for letting a friend play on my account but i didnt realize they would call it boosting they say in the policy you CANlet friends on your account but never said your FRIENDS cant play anything on it like raids or trials of osiris or cruciable. is there anyway to contact them other than an appeal to get unbanned cause they say when you send a appeal theres not enough workers and you may never hear anything back from the appeal

Posting in the forums cannot assist you beyond linking you to the appeal and speculation. However, there is a process in place for players to appeal their ban or restriction. If you have already submitted a ticket than you have done all that you can do. The appeal process will trigger a 2nd review of your situation and if the ban was incorrect it will be lifted, if found to be valid, it will remain. If more than 1-2 weeks have passed or your ticket is closed without contact, it is generally safe to assume that Bungie found the ban to be properly placed and will not be modified. Bungie will typically respond only if more info is needed or if the ban/restriction is altered. The form is for appeals only, they do not answer questions as to why or how long. You will typically only hear from them if they require more information or if they are altering the ban. Lack of contact only indicates that the ban was found to be valid, not that they didnt review your case.

You should re-read the policy. The only approved activities are minor things (trying a gun out for a few minutes, lost sectors, checking vendors).

Nope. The ban is more than valid and probably won't be reversed. You can submit the Appeal form. ONCE. and that's it. If they don't reply or reach out for more info, consider it permanent.
