Cross Save Issue Need Help
I have no clue if it's possible after linking an old steam account to my Xbox main profile but when I disabled the steam account that I don't have access to and I never use I was hoping that after the 90 day lockout period would let me link another steam account but when trying to do so the old steam account is still there needing authentication and when trying to switch steam accounts from there I receive an error message... please help if you can

Hi there! As of March 25th, it is no longer possible to unlink any platform account from any Bungie.net profile. For more information, please review the below article. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025 In order to be able to unlink any account before this date, you must be able to authenticate the account. Bungie cannot remove any account from any profile for any reason as this would be considered unauthorized.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Since March 25th's [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url], only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the Steam account in question will remain linked.

As of March 25th, the ability to unlink platform accounts (except Twitch) was disabled. Your currently linked Steam account is permanently linked and will be the only one you can include in your cross-save setup. Bungie will not unlink it, there are no exceptions being made.
