Is Rite of the Nine gonna be unplayable?
I was using DIM today, and I got this new message I never seen before: "bungie API is limiting the amount of requests DIM makes".
Game is basically unplayable without DIM. Imagine you're trying to play rite of the nine, managing your inventory, and you can't move a armor piece because the bungie overlords think you did way too many requests.
I swear if this keeps up, I might just quit the game. I used things such as the discord LFG, destiny item manager and d2 foundry my whole d2 lifettime. The game is unplayable without them. I was looking for excuses to quit the game and go to greenier pastures, this might be just it.
EDIT: Some people are saying this is a fault of DIM or "my device". This is a fault with bungie. The APP is working fine. Even D1 DIM is broken. The code is open source you can look at it to see if it does anything shady.

app working fine for me, and plus you can just use vault in game from everywhere now so calling unplayable without dim is not true

3 AntwortenYou can use the vault anywhere ya know. Also you can't swap loadouts mid encounter while playing rite of the nine so you'd really have no reason to need dim.

1 AntwortenThe "Too many requests" problem is coming from Bungie. It has happened all week while trying to access this site and the D2 app. It is not effecting everyone and it is not happening all of the time.

FYI > I get that message occasionally for probably years nothing to worry about I think... ...but I agree with you on the importance of DIM and all those 3rd party apps like d2foundry, d2armorpicker, light.gg..etc -
10 AntwortenStop the empty threats. Simply use bungie’s own app if those other apps are giving you trouble. I was just on DIM & had no issues moving things around.

Then quit and stop crying about it. If the game is so horrible and bad don't look for excuses it's just a game move on.
