Why do I always have to be the top of the leaderboard? I swear I get the absolute worst players in my team. If I'm the only one going positive, there's a HUGE problem
But you aren't top always. Out of all of your recent matches, you've only been top around half of them. Then there's the fact that just about all of the matches you lost, you weren't even top of the team, or you rage quit. Take accountability that you aren't the top every match, and if you don't like randoms, then make your own team.

All very fair points. I can see both sides. The thing is, with control and solo queueing, they've made it a 50-50 win simulator. Trials matchmaking is better as of recent events, but we'll see how long that lasts. There have been too many matches to count where I've been the only one putting out and having 5 others with neg kds. Too many matches where I have a stack of team shooters that I don't have teammates to back me up against. Too many matches where having less of my team mates would've done me more favours. Loading into PvP with that much apathy due to matchmaking stacking against you is some only a few understand, let alone experienced. My only way out is stacking with others on the same skill level and steamrolling, which is not an enjoyable experience, nor are those people's personality. The matchmaking is proper shyt for those who are above average, but in order to cater to those who'd rather complain than actually try to get better (which is the majority of the population), Bungie will cater to them. Because the more dedicated and skilled players make up significantly of the wider population, and from a business perspective, fixing matchmaking for the people who actually want it to be good isn't cash money.
