I am not sure, but stunning shielded Unstoppable Champions wasn't as difficult as it was before. The shield takes up most of the Phalanx Champion, and so it's hard to target a limb as the shot wants to go dead center into the shield. Besides the blinding effects, is aiming for the limbs the only sure fire way to get a hit?

Bungie are aware of it though, so potentially not intentional to the degree its happened. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/1j1jy63/comment/mgeruwz/?context=8

Bearbeitet von BlaZingSkuLL398: 3/21/2025 7:42:11 AMFor Unstoppable Phalanxes shoot at their feet to stun them. Also, the best Unstoppable champ stunner is fusion rifles and linears can be good too. Vex Mythoclast is awesome if you have it. Glaives are also good, but not for Taken unstoppable champs. Also, bungie made the taken phalanx shields larger, so that is also what makes them harder to stum. Why bungie did this, I don't know. Edit: One more thing, you can use stasis to freeze an unstoppable champion then shatter the frozen champ and this will also stun. Ignitions from a solar effect like helion on warlock will stun as well.
