Having to wear event specific armor to participate in the event is dumb.
I’m talking about the masks in Festival of the Lost and class items in Guardian Games. Make them armor ornaments instead. Having to break your build just to participate is bad design. What’s the logic of having to wear specific things to participate in the event?

1 AntwortenBungie gives you a free artifice armor class item. You can master work it, you can apply it as ornament and STILL GET EVENT PROGRESS. So what the f***k are the complaints about? It’s not like you have to grind for the class item to drop as artifice in a dungeon, so what the f***k is the problem with it? -blam!-.

Unless you have a desperate need for an exotic class item there is no reason to not use the GG class item. You can make it exactly the same as your normal legendary class item. If you don;t like how it looks just change its shader and/or ornament to what you normally like. Exception to this, if you are so committed to your exotic class item that you can not run Rush, or whatever PvP hell they want you to play, without it, I suggest you try meta-rehab (spelled go enjoy the grass for a week and then come back and play!)

While in other events it's kinda dumb like solstice but in this event it's just a class item so it really doesn't matter, just masterwork it and copy what you had on your other class item. Then put an ornament on it is all I'll say

Oh no, you have to change your class item for an OPTIONAL event that is FREE to access? The fact you are completely unable to play the game without any loadout other than just the one you’re been crutching is very worrying.

The Guardian Games class item works as an Ornament this season. All Seasonal and Event armor should apply their buffs and count towards triumph and activity progression while worn as Ornaments, the same way that Iron Banner gear worn as Ornaments counts toward that activitiy's progression and rewards track. I have not gotten a single drop of Seasonal Armor to drop from The Nether above 51. Anything below 66 is an instant shard, and anything with even stat distributions is an instant shard. If the design intention is to give out weak armor with Seasonal drops, then just skip the armor drops and just let us use it as Ornaments to complete Seasonal Challenges. Thank you.

NO.1 its FREE artifice and currently the best armor piece for class item slots, just pick it up, maye next dlc you want to run 4 armor pieces for the armor traits, but for now everyone getting it for free. NO.2 you can TRANSMOG any guardian games class item from any year i think and it still counts as wearing one,

it's an intentional barrier to manipulate some more currency spends on the item or get some grinding to get enough currency for it or you can just let yourself be a bit less optimal for the event durationl

Bungle and logic will NEVER happen. They simple have no clue what that word means. Bad design.... the only thing they managed to design normally is the Eververse but no one seems to care so they continue to give us bad/weird/impossible design and force us to like it. Because why would they even listen to the player base? It's not going to fill Pete's coffers that's why!!

That said, anything worth earning in this event? Same scout since how many years now? And the auto-rifle? Isn’t it part of D2D1 release? How about that competition? Same old tricks completely unrelated to any form of skill to get a high score and be the best? What other joke is there?

Big agree. Unnecessary condition and hurts my stats. Very annoying in PvP esp
