When will Star Wars, sets be available for bright dust (BD) Bungie?
You still get $$ either way for play time going up in order for people to grind out BD. I know y'all probably make a lot more directly from selling it for cold hard cash instead though.

26 AntwortenIts only 20

People need to be paid for a service my guy
-
I made my Titan a Stormtrooper, which I am fine with just the one. My Hunter is cosplaying as Cad Bane with a cowboy hat, and my Warlock looks like Mando.
-
2 years from now maybe. They don't bring collaborations for Bright dust. They only one you could get was the assassins creed one but you had to wait 6-7 seasons.
-
2 AntwortenWhy would you ever waste money on costumes? They don't make the game function better.
-
No, genius,.we don't pay for play time.
-
They usually become available for bright dust after the season they got add in is over. Granted, it does occasionally take more than 1 season before they get added in for bright dust.
-
7 AntwortenIt should have been 20$ for all 3 sets.

Bearbeitet von Ghostfire239: 2/7/2025 4:30:22 PMI rarely buy ornaments. It was nice when they would at least have the gear be available via bright dust in that same season. I would just slowly get all the piece over time as they came out for bright dust over the course of that season. Now we gotta wait several seasons before that happens. I’ve only bought 1 crossover set and that was the Witcher set first the Hunter class (I’m a huge Witcher fan) and even that was a mistake tbh. The ornament sets really should not be that expensive, or at the very least they should make it so that buying it for 1 class unlocks it for the other classes as well. Sadly Bungie is just far too greedy, so there is no point in hoping for change.

4 AntwortenCosmetic pricing has gotten way out of hand. Its the players fault. Theres way too many players who are willingly spending WAY too much money on cosmetics in games. Greed infested trash companies just adapted their prices to what idiots are willing to spend. Lets be real. To be completely honest, all these cosmetics should be entirely free to get in game. We pay 100 bucks per year for Destiny content, that should include EVERYTHING. Should. Even if that wouldnt be the case, if theres a price tag that would be somewhat reasonable considering the mass amounts of money they would print through quantity, i would say $0,99 for an armor set would be something i could potentially see myself paying. IF the game is fun and made for US, not streamers. In that scenario, i would likely spend a dollar for an armor set. What happened in the last 5 years that made us as players be fine with paying absurd amounts of money for these NFT's in video games? Is everyone rich nowadays or just plain stupid?`Very mind blowing if you REALLY think about it...

7 AntwortenGame had a 77k peak on steam this season versus 325k last season btw.
-
1 AntwortenOverpriced cosmetics in a game which is basically pay to play is just greedy.
-
2 AntwortenNot buying it. Star Wars does not belong in Destiny.
-
1 AntwortenIt's sucks yup! Sure other games are worse (60 bucks for the color BLUE!?) however it should not be acceptable period.
-
After heresy, usually they will sell 1 piece of the armor for bright dust over the course of a few months. Not consecutively tho.
-
1 AntwortenRemember Disney owns star wars, and they ain't cheap. I'm the licensing was probably ridiculous, hence the large price tag.
-
I just ignore them. Like if I walked past a Gucci store.

9 Antworten
You still get $$ either way for play time going up in order for people to grind out BD.
How do they convert play time into money?
-
As bad as it is. It's worse in other games. Path of exile 2 has $85 dollar skins. Yes that's right $85 for a single skin set(head, arms, legs)
oh and that's the discounted cost if buying everything as a bundle btw
Bearbeitet von Sturm with no Drang: 2/7/2025 12:11:04 AMThe biggest gripe I have isn’t even the fact that one set costs $20.
Because anyone with a functional brain not riddled with holes by the fomo chase would understand the problem there.
It’s the fact that we do not have the choice to buy individual pieces like how we used to with EV sets made available via Bright Dust in the earlier D2 years. Case in point, I think the plastic look of the Stormtroopers’ Armor looks like dogsh!t. Nothing against the SW franchise itself though. The Hunter set’s cape catches my eye since it’s one of the only simplistic cloak designs that doesn’t have random clutter stuck to it and is hoodless. Similarly, the Witcher sets with the swords are a nice touch, but no small number of the other parts like the helms just don’t click with me. So, I’m not spending $20 for what effectively will be just the one or two pieces that I’ll actually use, because that would be impulsive and would sustain a bad habit. Don’t even know if Bungie will last long enough to enjoy those EV sets if they don’t get shut down before Frontiers see’s its realization.

2 Antwortenwill wait for when its avail for bright dust other than the classic stormtrooper so many other options left on the table. The Royal guard for warlock is spot on but the hunter could have been a Mandalorian set, or Biker Scout - hello, even a Clone Wars version or even a sith acololyte instead of what they choose. If I were to buy one it would only be the stormtrooper for Titan, but again I'm not, mainly because I don't think they deserve more of my money. This latest season is meh for me and the game is dying. It's less fun for Bungie have driven my friends away and I'm really a Solo player now. which then makes me think of how many bounty "hunter" sets would've have been better the for the Hunter, pun intended : )

2 AntwortenStop buying the cosmetics, and they would stop making them.
-
It's too late. The pay piggies have ruined almost every game by continually buying microtransactions.
-
6 AntwortenAnd then you pair with exotic armor, and it looks horrible.
-
1 AntwortenDon't buy them maybe? 🤔 The best way to force them to change something is not to engage with it. But we both know you will.
-
1 AntwortenIt will be available for BD after like couple of years maybe..
