New players coming to the game will have a very hard time trying to get good weapons especially since Onslaught is set to beat their bums!!
Question everyone asks

16 AntwortenYes. The content labelled as 'Casual' by the tryhards, diehards and elite is anything but. I've been BURNING Echo BGs in pursuit of a perfect Perfect Paradox, and the amount of 'casuals' I encounter is insane. I'm typically clearing in 12-13 mins with them, which is with me sweating out, but man! I've repeatedly backfilled with some FTs being +15, +20min in, not even at the final encoutner. The DPS checks for the Cyclops Arena specifically, are absurd for a casual to clear. On a similar note, the Wyverns in the Hydra Arena are incredibly obnoxious with almost as much HP as the boss himself. While I'm enjoying myself in the activities, and hard carrying them, it definitely pings on my radar that what should be a casual friendly activity isn't. I believe we first saw this ramp in difficulty during the Heist Battlegrounds in Season of the Seraph. While I personally loved them, and have since come to appreciate the Seraph Shield Mission, those activities upon their launch definitely maligned the casual playerbase.

I think Onslaught is amazing for new and returning players. Yes it’s challenging but so too are the other activities tied to such great loot. Every weapon that drops in Onslaught can be viable in any top end build. Imagine just playing one activity that has multiple end game weapons and you can focus one weapon to help your RNG even more. Yes you can fail but that’s ok. It makes you look at your build, champion mods etc that are all needed for end game too.

(on vanguard Onslaught) some players (any rank) go in just completely unprepared, no champion mods, no exotic armor/weapon, suited for pvp.. low resil just dying all the time.. so I would say no it is not for a newbie who is unwilling to read, equip.. maybe look at one guide... I have learned to leave those matches.. matchmaking does need a basic prompt/filter/check.. to improve the experience for certain activities for all evels.. and like has been mentioned before a base teaching level or tutorial/check loadout match would be thoughtful.. I expect games in the future will use ai to offer suggestions at the very least -
A consequence of the game having a terrible new player intro and little intro content to help players build up skill before diving into seasonal activities, which are not difficult per se, but require at least decent build crafting and gear to be useful in.

They disabled power level on the regular Onslaught so everyone experience the same difficulty. And these are great weapons to grind.

The regular one is easy no matter what you do and can drop some of the best weapons for an easy activity.
