My opinion will depend entirely on the "In some form" part.
If Oryx coming back is just a consequence of the Echo interacting with the Dreadnaught and is a temporary matter resolved by the end of the season, with Xivu and/or Savathun interacting with him as a means to further them, I won't have an issue.
If Oryx is the only Hive antagonist to take part in this Episode with the Dread and Winnower being the other players, then this will feel like a massive waste.
If Oryx is back past this Episode, it'll be one hell of a spit in the face to Xivu as an antagonist.

Before the Witch Queen reveal of the lie and Rhulk’s subjugation of them, yes, absolutely. After that, I’m not surprised they remained sidelined. With the Witness dead this would be the time to bring them back into play, since they’re at the top of the Hive hierarchy now. Even better that Xivu has been embarrassed, could easily have Yul make a power grab himself. Hell, I’ve been saying since we knew an Echo crashed into the Dreadnaught that Akka would make a very interesting antagonist as this mutilated fragment of his body springs into new life, which hopefully they’re doing and not having the spirit of Oryx fill that role.
