I was just playing and came across this, have you guys noticed this, I could be completely wrong here I looked in the collection a bit and didn't see any kinetic light-based weapons only kinetic darkness-based weapons, the thing is there is a mixture in the energy and power weapons I just find it odd.

Strand and stasis weapons are not kinetic damage. Just like void solar and arc are not kinetic damage.

I see what you mean now. This is actually the point of the loadout system. Our "energy" slot is for primary or special weapons that do light damage. The "kinetic" slot is for kinetic or dark damage weapons. This is how the system is intended. The only weapons I can think of that is listed as light that can be put in the kinetic slot are if you have the 2nd shot ready of Conditional Finality. One way to reach triple light or triple dark weapons is to use the Osmosis or Permeability perks.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Shark_Shank: 1/27/2025 6:19:53 PMthere are no "dark based" kinetic weapons either. If it is kinetic it has no element tied to it. They just put Stasis and Strand weapons in the same slot to separate them from light based weapons in the energy slot. This was done when stasis was added. Primarily due to the 3 slot system was not built with the extra elements in mind.

3 AntwortenThis was done by design, to spread some primary weapons back to the kinetic slot. They've used the light and dark separation to make more room for using both types at the same time.
