BUNGIE CANNOT BE TRUSTED!
Bungie is a company that CANNOT be trusted!
Period! End of story!
I guarantee after perk weighting scandal that they just got caught with, and had to apologize for by giving us free God rolls, that they’re right back at it again. They just wait for us to blink, then do similar crap all over again until they get caught.
Been playing IB the entire weekend and can’t seem to get a single Air Trigger / Chill Clip roll, but I’ve gotten an enormous amount of duplicates of every other roll. It’s infuriating that these people expect us to spend an entire weekend sitting in front of a screen for the sake of getting a weapon that they will eventually nerf. And while I don’t expect weapons to be given to us like candy, I don’t expect to have play 5 whole days for it either! This built in weapon / perk denial crap has to stop!!! It’s not RNG! The system actively works to deny us perks and/or weapons we most desire.

1 Antworten10000% agreed I had friends say "no way could bungie control the drops of perks, how would they know what players are chasing" SMH, Light GG and other websites track what players keep, Bungie Knows Air Trigger and Chill Clip is the roll players wanted, so they nerf the heck out of that dropping for players and crank up the drops of Offhand strike/Adagio etc etc Its so obvious, IF the community ever got together and recorded all this data on a larger scale we would have WeightGate 2.0 Years ago HeyitsFitzy made a spreadsheet for the low drop rates of Iron Banner weapons after matches and Bungie apologized and now we are right back to that, meanwhile I believe Fitzy now plays FFXIV and quit Destiny.

Why would you trust a company? Trust is earned, not deserved. For me at least, recent events have eroded it all away(almost) Now I just take screenshots of the neat game areas before it gets shutdown in three years so I can remember.

I think players are looking at this from the wrong perspective. Bungie can be trusted. It's the fact that most of their development team is on Marathon. If you want Destiny to succeed, then you want Marathon to fail, and for the developers to realise their main game is not a pvp title.

Like any other business casinos try to extract as much money from people as they possibly can. In response to your bad RNG. Like it or not it is what it is. Bungie may have rigged it they might not. People will tell you it’s all rng and they’re right but we don’t know what’s under the hood for how it works. Either way I know you’re pain as I’ve been jabaited out of loot I seek for long periods of time #matadorfarming. This is getting into conspiracy theory territory so take with a grain of salt, but still fun to think about lol. My conspiracy theory is that it is definitely rigged. Bungie claims the perks are all weighted the same but never show actual proof, and just like their dev insight to weightgate said there is no such thing as true randomness is the computer world. They use the number from your previous loot to influence the next so each player can have predetermined loot paths. Both of these do make me raise an eyebrow. Bungie has a lot of data for the game and what’s stopping them from manipulating things just to extend the time playing just a little. They manipulated brightdust so that you have just enough for a few things here and there but never enough to buy a lot. What’s stopping them from doing that with loot.

I'm not commenting on the perk scandal or if Bungie can be trusted > just on how you can enjoy the game more for you: Why are you chasing this 1 specific roll?.. I got a Decon and Loose Chill and its all gonna be allright allright allright... you think when you land this specific roll that it will so outweigh these others? Just do the things worth your time... and thats not up to a streamer/youtuber to decide on that roll for you. Thats just you. My suggestion > stop playin for a bit.. use some engrams on some other stuff and occasionally try some Tinasha's. It will not be a game changer compared to other chill rolls.. you'll probably get it after a while and so what? -

19 AntwortenEven if they wanted to try this again (presuming that they intentionally did it in the first place) they wouldn't. Wanna know why? Because they would be caught immediattely. The community has built tools to track these things now. We have hard data. We can see whats going on under the hood. If they ever did it intentionally, and ever tried to again, we would know the moment it happened. There is no getting away with it, and they aren't that stupid.

They've been like this since the start guys. You think this is the first time they've done this? - XP throttling - Sun setting - weightgate - gotcha difficulty modifiers It goes on and on. I still love the game but these developers have made some questionable decisions with their fanbase.

5 AntwortenWait for all the bungie defenders coming in hot saying it is fixed. Constantly getting same perks on certain guns after this “fix”. Reality is people who coded the engine and this system left Bungie a long time ago. For perk weighting truly to be fixed you would see that if you focused 30 rolls they all should have different perk combinations or evenly randomly rolled instead we still get a constant stream of weapons with the same garbage perks and the so called “god rolls” aren’t dropping at all. In fact I’d be happy with just 2 good perks on a gun and that’d make it a 2/5 but even that seems impossible after this “fix” It’s all intentional to increase play time.

5 AntwortenWe all have our ‘white whale(s)’ that refuse to drop, even whilst it appears to be dropping like flies, according to some?! My latest one is Chroma 2.0 - even using a tonic doesn’t appear to work too well…in fact, it seems to drop everything but!? 🤔 Way back, we had a system one could spec weapon options, load up the artifact, then do the multiplayer event…scramble around a series of rooms fighting different enemies and bosses…the final one gave 2x chests, which could be double/ or triple opened if one was fast enough! This old tortoise can’t recall the name of it, but other players will know. Anyhoo, I think that was probably the best system out of all of them. The current tonic system + possible unresolved perk weighting suspicions are a thing…and it’s not a good thing either! 🧐 As for me chasing my own ‘white whale(s)’ - there’s plenty of workable weapons that do drop, and they will do nicely! 😁 When it becomes a chore or a bore…then, it’s time for no more! 👈 Ease Springs! 🫡

IMO, It just proves that Bungie intentionally tries to build this crap into the game to keep us endlessly playing, and will only admit to or fix it once they’ve gotten caught.

Just got one in that combo after resetting Iron Banner two and a half times. I don't even know how many sidearms I grinded, but I only got Chill Clip 5 or 6 times out of 50 or more.
