It was. By far. But Bungie produced a pretty graph, saying look now you're only facing Coordinated Communicating Have-each-others-back 2+v1s minimum in most matches and we think that's just fine, because we say it is. Bungie is not remotely the home of fair-play, and customers soloplaying via matchmaking are an underclass second-rate position for them to exploit and allow to be exploited in game. Bring FL back. They won't of course.

There's two weeks of Iron Banner. And I bet sometimes they need to decide what will happen during both of them.

7 AntwortenPvp went to S....I....H.....T..., when crossplay was implemented, i play since destiny was on Ps3, i never had lag on my martches, on d2 the moment they put xbox players it was the downfall of pvp.

180 AntwortenYes... The only ones who disagree are the ones who stack

Bearbeitet von S I L E N C E: 11/30/2024 8:34:39 AMYes. I miss being in solo only lobbies. It felt the most fair & as fun as crucible can be. Now we are back to the best people in PvP (Friends or adjacent) pairing up together again. D1 PvP in the current year(s) has shown me a lot of the good players stick together and stack together. And for people who just want to enjoy PvP whether you're good or bad... You can't when all it takes are 2 people to completely swamp the lobby. D1 is a unique case because the game is so dead (not unlike where D2 is headed) it actively represents what the crucible will become in D2. (We even have D1 queue times in D2 PvP...Not joking). The same people over & over in low population lobbies, in the same stacks of people, making it unwinnable when you solo queue or play with your own friends. Eventually the people who abuse stacking with their friends will be the same people who kill the crucible for good. Freelance, before the game dies, needs to be the only option eventually.

Yeah none of this two stacking bullshit get rid of it and go back to freelance

3 AntwortenFor anyone curious, it's not actually that hot a topic. Some weirdo just wants the last word, like literally said he will have the last word.

Was just thinking about it. 👍 In the last 2hrs, i have not won a single ib match. Constantly running into 3s. And in a team of 6, the math is simple. If the playerbase is to low for freelance, then bungie doing something wrong (sbmm). You cant put desent 3stack and 4stack against solo players, and think that the solo players Are having fun with the game!!

2 AntwortenDuh. Casuals vs wannabe pro gamers. Who will complain the most?
-
3 AntwortenNo, it was hell if you played with friends. The que times weren't funny
-
11 AntwortenFor people who didn't have friends to play with, maybe. Certain stack sizes just weren't allowed to play the game when freelance was up. You were forced to either drop somebody or go lfg. A group of friends that just finished a raid wanna run iron banner, but one guy had to get off? Too bad, you have five people, and since nobody runs the main playlist while solo, you are just not gonna be able to play the game with a stack of that size. Freelance was a band-aid. It was only ever meant to be a band-aid, and you can't keep band-aids on for too long without risking something getting infected.

Freelance was great.

I think 1st we need to be honest with ourselves: do stacks like playing stacks.. do they like playing bunch of solos? do solos like playing stacks.. or a bunch of solos? come on the answer is obvious... > no one wants to play vs stacks.. especially in casual play ok so now you wanna bring up population.. and how "we should never make playing with friends.. worse than going alone".. fine then compromise.. offer freelance somewhere or rotate it at the very least. Is it always an issue... No.. sometimes the balancing seems to work out fine.. but honestly why is it considered bad to want to be good yourself.. individually contributing to the mass of players playing the same game.. why is this considered lower class? I as a solo.. am a great teammate > I protect, cap, revive, care about the score... more than your clan.. or your LFG. I think it'd be nice to also have a freelance competitive 6s tournament. -
Bearbeitet von Joulevette12: 12/1/2024 3:35:11 PM100% agree idc if it divided the player base it was way better then keep getting thrown into unbalanced lobbies with premade team stomping the opposite team full of randoms. Freelance Trials was more balanced with the only downside of trying to go flawless when the majority of the players that played it only wanted the basic trials loot.

I haven’t played in a week or barely and I do not miss it at all. Got a decent stasis rocket sidearm from 4-5 games , including the titan chest legs and class item for transmogs and that is really all I wanted. Archons Thunder is copium, I might farm a roll today but IB population is so low you’re constantly matching stacked top teams and I am so tired of being in a lobby where my team is 5 bots with 0.xx kd and just challenge the enemy 1v4 every time they respawn. Either that or the stack is on your team and it happens to the enemy. But my 5 losses in a row last time disagree. We got ran over.

8 AntwortenIflt wouldn't be bad if abilities weren't overpowered and broken

2 AntwortenThey also need to nerf the -blam!- out of hand cannons just so it makes the forums go wild 😂. Oh and make iron banner power based again.

2 AntwortenAgreed. Once video games got political, pvp went to crap.

1 AntwortenFor d2 trials it was nice. House of wolves era trials was the legit golden age.
-
11 AntwortenPfft. The golden age was when everyone played everyone
