new rocket sidearm god roll PSA
noticed a lot of people are chasing for loose change + chill clip or impulse amplifier + chill clip
just want to put it out there that it's actually air trigger + chill clip, because enhanced air trigger gives the equivalent of double ammo reserve mods which obviously circumvents the ammo economy nerf on rocket sidearms recently, happy farming peeps.
edit: some other good roles have been dropped in the replies, take a gander -
reverberation + chill clip - reverberation gives the sidearm a bigger blast radius and increases the damage a slight amount, helping with spreading slow/freeze and putting down majors
deconstruct + chill clip - due to frozen enemies counting as constructs, when you shatter a boss/destroy a frozen enemy, it'll automatically add more ammo to the magazine to help you continue firing, probably some good use out of this for various things; wiping out majors, easy ad-clear, and maybe as back-up damage on a boss.

1 AntwortenI got the air trigger / chill clip role after roughly 6 games yesterday. Sorry to my teams… I’m absolutely terrible at pvp. Glad I don’t have to go back in there for a while.

I'll take any of Loose Change, Impulse or Air Trigger, as long as it has Chill Clip; although with what other comments are saying about Deconstruct I may actually try to go with that. (It's not that I don't trust strangers on the internet but..... actually, it's exactly that....).

13 AntwortenIt’s funny that you and all these streamers are farming this roll. Omg really? Yeah? Omg guys the godroll is a perk that gives +6 to reserves. No, air trigger is trash on special weapons. You never run out of ammo and if you did there is special finisher. But hey, grind away. I prefer reverberation for 100 blast radius or impulse amp personally. Air trigger even sucks on heavies. I have it on the acosmic, reserves go from 34 to 38. Omg 4 more shots omg omg omg. What a joke nowadays. Not a PSA.

Yeah I used up about 20 engrams to finally get a Loose Change + Chill. Got a Deconstruct / Bait roll also.

4 AntwortenAfter reading this, i thought lets see if i can get my hands on one with those rolls. I almost never play PVP, but Iron Banner wasnt that bad. So i kind of enjoyed myself doing it, and i got the Air trigger/Chill clip 👍 Did it for PVE tho, but playing Iron Banner was kind of fun.

1 AntwortenGot this - it’s on my T…after getting the vendor role at rank 4, I burned a few engrams at session end, just to see what would drop…and the g-roll did drop. Nice! Took it for a spin just to see what the fuss was all about…and…well, it was too slow in IB to be of use - even for this old tortoise!? Maybe it’s more a PvE thing?! Will try it out later. I use the strand one a lot, and occasionally the sol one, too…so, will see what develops… ITMT, back to the gild grind…😵💫 Ease Springs! 🫡

Other than for certain acquiring chill clip rolls for testing... I wouldn't mind testing a max velocity bait and switch (should act similar to cascade.. and curious how many rounds you can get out by 10 sec.. coupled with a machine gun crowd controller as the heavy..etc) Adagio.. kinda seems like a sure thing for an Onslaught type activity for yellow bar melting at least.. (when the inevitable chill clip nerf does cometh) -

1 AntwortenOr maybe it is Reverberation, increases damage from ~14k to ~21k and adds blast radius. Or maybe it is Deconstruct, as frozen enemies are count as constructs and you can proc chill klip as much as you want without reloading.

This is correct. And for some reason, tactical mag also gives you more reserves.
