Cayde's Fate glitched
Mission is glitched. Not allowing rank progress. Have a friend that started fresh and need to finish this mission for guardian rank 4. Get to the second room and can't finish the mission at all. Locks you in and acts like there's still enemies to get rid of when the room is clear. Please fix as this it tied to the monte Carlo quest and is currently one of the only ways to get an austringer drop.

[u] WORKAROUND FOR CAYDES FATE BUG[/u] The mission asks for you to clear out the room and stop the hive from coming out of the vents as well as to unclog them by breaking the "gunk" in them. The bug is that some of the enemies are being trapped below the floor because they're spawning in as the "gunk" gets fully broken. As the vents are retracting it pushes the newly spawned hive down through the floor without giving them a chance to crawl up. [i]need to know (unsure)[/i] Acolytes spawn in 2s Thralls spawn in 3s There is a infinite amount of spawns BUT a short cooldown between spawns [b]Here is the workaround[/b] 1) Be very careful and do one vent at a time 2) Break the "gunk" halfway 3) a. If acolytes are spawning wait until 2 jump out and very quickly break the last bit of the "gunk" b. If thralls are spawning wait until 3 jump out... 4) kill the enemies and continue your mission guardian [i]Devs please[/i] i may be out of my depth here but some solutions could be... 1. A set number of spawns per vent (ex. only 6 can jump out of this one...), and the gunk is invincible untill theyre all dead. 2. A instakill zone for the thralls or the acolytes below the floor where they end up being pushed under [b]PLEASE UPVOTE IF IT WORKED THANK YOU LOVE U GUYS GOODLUCK WITH DESTINY 2[/b]

1 AntwortenStill bugged for me as of 12/23/24... Just came back to the game after a long absence and wanted to give it a go. Complete the mission to the point where it boots me back to orbit and have no progression. How is this [b]still[/b] happening?!?!

As of 12/18/24 it is still bugged and I cannot move on to step 2/5. I have completed "cayde's fate" 3 times now and I cannot progress Tried the game because friends recommended, but the new player experience has been bug after bug. Not worth

1 AntwortenOMG Bungie - fix this! Not only does it affect the new players, but the title for the 10 year anniversary for veteran players is also being affected. Because you put the requirement to complete all 4 Timeline missions, without this one, the title is not achievable. Even though the mission was completed LONG ago, you put in this stupid requirement.

1 AntwortenStill broken in the 10/22/2024 release. Some of us have paid a lot of money for this broken stuff. I wonder if we'll get refunds for the missions we can't complete. This is called "bait and switch" in some fraud cases.

4 AntwortenSo, when should I actually press the fix? For some people the mission was completed automatically, but for me personally it wasn't. I've already completed the game, of course, but what about the newbies who are now either deleting the game or don't know what to do for two weeks now, like me, all the content has been completed except for the basic one.

Rest assured we recognize the importance of this problem for newer players and are focusing on resolving it as much as possible, as potential fixes are being reviewed. 2 AntwortenI'm in the same boat. I think they should remove the requirement rather than wait for the mission patch. Or at least allow us access to: 1. Armor Mods 2. Fireteam Finder
