I love GMs and help a lot of people through them.

But we've both seen it... GMs have not been getting the attention they deserve for over a year. Raids adepts became enhance'able... and we assumed a similar mechanic was coming to GMs... it didn't. We had to wait until enhancement incorporated the entire loot pool, and most GM adepts were excluded... and they never got the same nuanced enhancement as raid adepts. When they introduced NF ciphers... I thought great, GM players have a spoils mechanic... they never developed it further. While the difficulty has been reduced... the incentives to play it have also. The economy for high end mats has gotten so much better... and that's impacted GMs. AND... tell me Jonty... weren't we all convinced FOR SURE... Pali was coming back? These are bad signs for GM endgame, imo. Like the early game needs a lot of help... I get that. But, it's just me... I would prioritize the endgame people play the most. GMs. They decided to keep raids as their main priority. Not that you can fully abandon that development either. But no one plays them. No one plays them legit. And no one that plays them legit... doesn't take advantage of things like farming spoils, and checkpoints on the rotator. Btw "no one" respective population. GMs had been the most popular endgame in the history of the franchise. Threw out the window... that difficulty WAS the reason people don't raid. It crushed the conceit that Destiny players don't want challenging endgame. It exposed pretenders... one content creator in particular, "artificial difficulty"... others literally quit rather than be exposed. Speaking to GMs. My passion and initiative was this mode. Economical... Raids are the MOST expensive endgame to develop and maintain... played by the least. GM tuning is cheap in comparison, it's essentially a modifier on repurposed content that can be utilized at lower difficulties. And though, at least in the beginning, remember Glassway... up to Witchqueen... more difficult than any raid... Yet so many people played them. Fantastic metrics and cheap. They lost sight of that.
