Why Force the exotic mission as part of the act?
Seriously, I actually half like the exotic mission. Hate the first half, boring and died so many times trying to find way forward. 2nd half was better but frankly I've quit last boss cause I was tired out of continuing.
But point is WHY FORCE it as part of doing the Act? Put it separate so can get act done. Cause frankly if and IF I get this done I'm never doing this mission again. Frankly, I don't even care about the battle pass anymore I ain't gonna bother getting it to 200 currently 67 ranks off cause this episode has been 25% gd. So won't get the ornaments

I like the mission personally but completely foolish of Bungie to make it required for progress on the story, didn't go well when they did it for Star-crossed during Season of the Wish but as usual Bungie never learns their lessons.

Exotic missions for season of defiance and wish were required to be completed in order to progress the seasonal story. The only exception to this trend is in Season of the Deep but that is mostly due to the difficulty of the exotic mission Whetstone

It’s to make sure you spend the time playing everything they want you to. No gather whatever resources no exotic mission. Just grind reinforcement.

3 AntwortenThe exotic mission is the Act 3 focus. It will be required each week for the story to progress. It is forced because it isnt difficult and its for the STORY of the episode.
