Dual Destiny Bugged
when doing the quest dual destiny my friend and I were on our respective light/dark platforms but the game did not register us being on the platforms, and did not let us into the next room, and the timer ran out.

Did one of you die just before that? there is a few glitches that will remove the Light/Dark aligned buff. For now until Bungie fix it, having the person that lost it leave and rejoin can fix it - you can also try dying again.
