Bearbeitet von MC 077 Lasombra: 8/22/2024 2:16:12 AMShouldn’t have been brought back at all. The whole melodrama between Crow and Cayde and Cayde and his fireteam was lazy storytelling for what this dlc was supposed to be about. The culmination of a ten year story was mostly social drama. We merely stopped the Winnowers current follower and the ship Nacre makes it clear IT wants to find another. No answers or resolutions.

I’m just gonna say to you, PLEASE DON’T INCLUDE SPOILERS FOR FS IN THE TITLE! It ruins it for people who haven’t gone through it yet, and don’t want spoilers.
-
They can't afford actual devs, let alone a big actor. That's why.

He didn't like the idea he was brought back by a wish, not one bit , notice how his attitude and tone completely shifted once Crow told him Sacrificing whatever he was now so we could keep on being us was a way to feel in control again and has a way for us to take him with us everywhere we go I think a nice touch would have been for him to take over ghost every now and then , or have Nolanbot make out of character jokes or lines
-
That's a spoiler in a title if I've ever seen one.
-
Cayde should have never returned in the first place. Having half the missions be dealing with the vanguard fireteam trauma and getting them back together was easily the worst part of that entire campaign

5 AntwortenThey used him to hype people about FS, used him, then threw him away again

Yes he should have. It would cheapen his death back in Forsaken. Bungie ended his character tastefully, and while they did bring him back, they made sure that the Death he had was permanent. It gives weight to his character

Bearbeitet von chad_599: 8/20/2024 6:03:12 AMActually there is an alternate ending out there
Cayde doesn't die I think.
I first saw it posted by Luckyy. But I guess they decide with our current ending because it seemed more impactful? More like Bungie didn't want to keep paying Fillion a huge contract.
