Weaponslot 1 and 2 (kinetic and energy) should have the same weapon pool.
There is no reason anymore why they should not have the same weapon pool.
This will let us have the same weapon element in all slots.
Builds will benefit from this change.
It is annoying to always have one weapon element that has no synergies with your build.
Controller players could choose to which weapon they switch from the heavy weapon slot.
It would make builds and gameplay better.

1 AntwortenI agree There were so many times where when I try to min-max my loadout, I find that some options I would like to use are in the same slot. I like your idea, as it would create more loadout combos and diversity. And also we would have glaive in "1st slot"

Kinetic and energy weapon slots should be changed to Holster 1 and Holster 2 and be able to equip ANY primary or special weapon regardless of affinity.

this is something bungie has been aiming to do, but finding a place for base kinetic weapons is hard with so many useful perks being tied to an element. once they find a way to balance them, i wouldn't be surprised if they implement this format and use it as a selling point for a dlc launch.

Hmm maybe, I'd be happy with the option to switch orders. Slot 1 is darkness, slot 2 is light but having the ability to have slot 1 light and slot 2 darkness... just by moving the inventory bar up and down would be cool!! This would be nice for those loadouts when the slot 2 weapon is the weapon of choice for the majority of combat.

3 AntwortenI'm ok with how it is, the only thing I would want changed is to either 1. Go back to how it was in D1, where elemental weapons were random. So a weapon that is intrinsically solar could also roll as void or arc. Or, 2. Go back to Vanilla D2, where you can choose the element by putting in a mod. How would perks like Incandescent and Voltshot work in either case? I have no idea.

I’m wondering if there will be a final darkness subclass. And then a “darkness kinetic” element as well.

I’m glad someone else has the same idea!

I like the way it is now. Slot1: kinetic/darkness, slot2: light energy, slot3: power.

1 Antworten"It is annoying to always have one weapon element that has no synergies with your build" That has a reason to be if you think about it. If you have everything available everywhere you don't compromise anything on the builds. I think what you really want is just slot 1, 2 and 3, why don't you just ask fot that? Special every slot, heavy every slot. since we are at it, an exotic every slot. Is that enough?

I would like to add; I would love to see some kenetic heavy weapons.
-
This is a great idea. It more than doubles the number of build combinations

1 AntwortenYou mean like d1? Primary, Special and Heavy Slot? Even tho i never played d1 it sounds the best imo I doubt they will make changes like that in Y7 or beyond.
