The game doesn’t feel like a looter shooter anymore. As a PvP player, we get little to no loot. There’s like no incentive to play almost anything in this game anymore. As much as people might say “D2 is a PvE game” that’s just not true. The only long-term replayable part of this game is PvP, and PvP doesn’t give enough loot to be rewardable.
There’s only like 2 weapons worth grinding for in PvP, and they’re both comp weapons. And Bungie has put a cap on how many you can get. So basically, you hop into PvP for like 30 minutes a week and get your focuses, and then you have no reason to play PvP for another week.
Loot shouldn’t be raining from the sky in PvP, but there’s like no weapons that are any good. Realistically, I’m not going to go grind for four hours a day to get Better Devils, a unbelievably mid hand cannon when we have Kept Confidence at home.
The only activities in this game that have good loot are gatekept (activity power, requires teammates, requires DLC) from most casuals, like Trials and GMs, and even then you’re getting like one weapon.
We need more loot. Not more grindy activities.

This game traded gun centric builds for ability centered builds. 90% of pve builds are demo/pug, 3.0 subclass synergy perks, or exotic primaries. Now guns are support items rather than the main focus of the game.
