So, some streamer, one of the people responsible for ruining the game according to many on the forum? Yeah, listen to whoever the hell that person is.

I thought his suggested changes on access were perfect. I mean, if i remember correctly, theres around 100 total different perked exotic class items ( 33 each class )
-
I feel you've missed my point but with regards to the Class Exotic, my opinion is that we're so far down the rabbit hole that no matter what's done (available to solos, craftable, Bungie simply giving each player the perk combo they want) nothing is changing how it was received by the players on this forum. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we never get anything like it again (the Exotic or the mission) just so Bungie can avoid all the ensuing nonsense. Call it a 'cautionary tale' for future expansions.

The whole point of the mission is creating harmony between light & dark. Hence the name of the mission. You only have to do the mission one time & than you can farm overthrows for it.

Except the player count for the mission doesn't seem to be the issue, at least based on what I've read here. It's the social interaction required for the mission that caused the mass tantrum. And without that aspect, plus adding the matchmaking that so many feel would be the solution, it's nothing more than a strike. We've got plenty of those and players complain about those too. It's a failed experiment but shouldn't come as a shock. Lately it seems that whenever something new is introduced to the game it gets immediate pushback. I find this particularly funny given how often people post about how the game is stale, boring, and recycled. I can't help but think of my time working in restaurants: a parent asks their child what they want, the kid tells them, it arrives at the table, and suddenly the kid wants something else they saw on a different table instead. People here don't know what they want, only that whatever they get isn't it.
