Unfortunately I don’t think that’s a hot take. It’s the sad reality of the generally poor character development in this game.
I like Devrim and Shaxx. I liked Asher Mir. Brother Vance was a cool, mysterious guy in D1 then we all know what they did to him.

Forest afaik rn even tho Io and Mercury are currently still gobbled up by the Pyramid ships holding them in their Darkness pocket dimension the ships have around them as an invisible forcefield that anything fired at em gets poofed outta our realms existence

Bearbeitet von The-IIID-Emp1r3: 7/8/2024 10:03:54 PM[quote]I thought Vance ended up getting killed by a simulation copy of himself?[/quote] Other way around, Vance knew the only thing the Witness couldn't copy was his imperfection of being blind (missing eyes) so when Vance got the drop on the Witness doppelganger of him he pushed his fake self to the ground and dug his thumbs in the eyes, causing it to wail in pain, see the Witness tried too hard at emulating someone too perfectly, he couldn't see what was (missing) under the blindfold, Vance knew the only way to have the upper hand was that and that the copy was not him despite telling him it was (i think it said that🤔). The Witness tried this with Sloane and the others iirc, before it took the planets/moons
