From someone who's been thru it like you are, keep trying, feels better when you get there. It's more about timing than anything. I tried a few groups after lots of fails & it was even worse, went back in solo & nailed it. Focus adds,then subjugator, repeat. Then shield stood over the light, break subjagator shield & repeat again adds, sub, etc 2nd phase is the same thing but watching the poison timer, try to stay at the back where you spawn so the witness can't 1 hit you, he can if you on the sides & don't see him. New sidearm & graviton lance & rocket worked for me, malfeasance was good too if it's better for you, just use that & rocket for boss. Prismatic grenade hurts him too so don't forget to use it. I used bleak watcher nades & nova super. Keep going, will feel better alone

Really appreciate the encouragement and tips. I’m literally shaking in anger and frustration at this point. Tried multiple builds, strats etc… and I’m starting to think (aside from being skill), it’s also luck and things have to line up on your side. I had an instance where I died because the Subjugator lined up on left of me, and the Witness launched his attack directly from the right of me, I was just trapped in the middle of the two with nowhere to run. And if you ask why I was in such a position, it’s because that’s where the node was. I had to go there to shoot it. Once I did, they lined up on both sides of me and just killed me. Stuff like that REALLY pisses me off!!! The game forces you to go to a location, then punishes you for being there. To me that’s not fun or smart gameplay, that’s just trolling your players to show how difficult you can make things for them. The people at Bungie are a little saddistic.

If I can do it you surely can. Remember, they follow patterns so learn the patterns. Weapons arent super important, it's more placing. Deffo use a rocket for the subjagators so you can shoot then get behind cover, then something you find easiest to shoot the birds with, then it's literally timing your runs. Oh forgot, use stasis resist mods, so he can't 1 hit you with the freeze walls,I used 3. Then you just gotta make sure to kill the birds & squeeze in subjugator damage. In the poison phases, yeah you gotta run to shoot the node things but then run back to the middle to cover. I know it can get really frustrating, I was gonna uninstall lol, just don't overthink it regarding weapons n more timing & placing & kill birds.

It is a weird take in that the top 0.1% find GMs easy, so this is designed to challenge them. Strike felt a little long & with the wrong modifiers it's another corrupted/heist battleground mars/psi ops battleground moon, an insta leave.
