Eriana's Vow needs an extremely filthy PvE buff. It is crazy how far this weapon got left behind in the sandbox
The fact the Warden's Law as a Primary can out DPS Eriana's Vow is ridiculous. Eriana's can't 1 tap barrier champs in GMs while Indebted Kindness as a Legendary can and Wish Ender as a Primary can as well.
Eriana's was the very first intrinsic Champ mod exotic and these specific champ mod exotics were supposed to be the best at what they were spec'd out for, but for Eriana's in particular that hasn't been the case for years.
Eriana's Vow used to keep up with Rapid-Fire Snipers in DPS and 1 tapping Barrier Champs used to be easy. Please give Eriana's some love and make this the case again

I think letting it 1tap barriers is a no brainer, needed buff. I think giving it a version of lasting impression would also set it apart from other choices.

1 AntwortenOf lot of exotics are in that dust pile. Really sucks when you spent endless hours trying to complete its catalyst back then too. Guess Bungie forgot they made everyone grind the hell out of it just for it to go in the garbage a short time later. 😢

Every precision hit from this gun should do Ignition damage.

Eriana's should be able to stagger & pierce multiple foes.

Id say make eriana have twice the ammo reserve So u can use it as an effective endgame add clear weapon / elite killer. And i would also remove the "dont miss a headshot if you want good dmg" gimmick Just make it "dont miss a shot including bodyshot"

It needs to break barriers in one. A primary exotic(Wishender) can break in one, and with the seasonal barrier sidearm mod the new rocket sidearms can break in one. Also, make it cause an ignition when it breaks any shield.

I made this same post at the beginning of the season. My thoughts: Give it a 100% damage buff vs champions, increase reserves from 30 to 50. Kills can proc heavy ammo finder mods just like indebted kindness. Increase precision damage vs all non champion enemies by 20%. Finally breaking shields or barrier causes and ignition.

Double the damage and add explosions on crits and even health regen……. Bring back power fantasy

I felt so dang powerful with it after I struggled to complete Savathuns Song on Master. I'd love to use this gun more often but It's just too outclassed by everything else.

2 AntwortenErina's Vow is also TERRIBLE as a champion weapon. I'd honestly buff the champion capabilities to oneshot like all the other anti-champion weapons and make it primary ammo instead.

3 AntwortenJust to clarify as I had done testing on it earlier this season (my previous thread is no longer here for some reason) as it is still one of my favorite exotics, and it will absolutely one-shot Barrier Champions unless they are of the Vex Hobgoblin variety. You will need to hit their critical zone for this to happen, due to the increased damage from First Glance. However since Hobgoblins will crouch and hide their critical zone, it is not possible to one-shot unless you frame perfect the shot just before they crouch to stun them. I ran this testing specifically in Master Lost Sectors so it should hold up for most content, versus an Ikelos Sniper with Radiant active and Indebted Kindness. The Ikelos Sniper just barely did less damage than Eriana's Vow and so was able to break the barrier on a precision hit. Although, my argument did hold up for Indebted Kindness, as it did not need such accuracy and additionally has better ammo economy than Eriana's Vow, so I would like to see a buff to it in PvE even if it is just increased reserves but it is technically still viable.

7 AntwortenTbh the only exotics with intrinsic anti champ capabilities worth using are Le Monarque and Malfeasance anyways. The rest get outclassed by multiple different options this season and overall. Radiant lets you outright one tap champs with Izanagi, Volatile turns any void gun into anti-barrier, Arc literally has a grenade that is only useful for stunning unstops, Jolt makes Overloads a joke, Indebted Kindness with Jolt deals with 2 champs with this season mods, the same 2 champs if Radiant, forever, and 3 champs with this season mods if you are on Arc. Bastion is bad, Arbalest is mid, Revision Zero is bad, Devil's ruin is bad, Thunderlord and Two Tailed are too weak, Leviathan's Breath is mid, good damage, horrible handling.

Definitely not the only thing I'd like to see added to it, but just an idea I had off the dome Precision shots with its perk up should give AoE Radiant for your squad for like 10 seconds. With Well of Radiance losing that damage buff, it might give Erianna's a home in team utility and Bait and Switch rotations Again, it'll definitely need some other love, but I kind of like this idea as an added effect

I still remember when titans could 1 shot with it. Put up a Barricade and just snipe. Good times...Good times.

2 AntwortenSo much potential there, but I haven't touched it in - at least a couple years now. I forget when it came out. Maybe my time scaling is off, but it feels like 2 years.

1 AntwortenIt fires at a 90 RPM fire rate, meaning it should be bare minimum in line with Adaptive snipers. No reason it shouldn’t. And if anyone tries to say that’s too much (it isn’t) Eriana’s also is a hand cannon with limited range, unlike a sniper which has virtually no range falloff aside from when hits stop registering. So if anything, it deserves an additional buff on top of the one I already mentioned.

I used it for the BRAVE Lunas quest. Lol. Yeah its weak but not super weak. It should break barrier shields in 1 shot. Borderline unusable on any other class than solar hunter. But it hits like a truck this season with the artifact. Next season it could use a buff.
