Players have been wanting a horde mode for a long time. Hopefully this is good and we see it expanded upon
-
The only thing that concerns me about Onslaught is how the lack of communication in matchmade Onslaught will lead to three different strategies with regards to spending scrap. I play on console (PS5, specifically) and the number of players without a mic is higher than the number that have and use a mic.

2 AntwortenAll I want to know is if the defense turrents we are supposed to protect can shoot through a titan bubble.

1 AntwortenI love shredding waves of enemies. Don't care about rewards. Just the joy of explosions and slaughter.

4 AntwortenYou’ll notice the utterly pathetic lengths those that hate this game will go to make sure you know they do. Anything remotely positive, or optimistic is drowned out by the swarm. Any positive post is downvoted egregiously.

It looks promising and I think every season should have some form of it with different stuff. I know that's asking another but we are always at war. Why not have the horde mode reflect that as it does now.
-
1 AntwortenIt honestly reminds me of Gears of War 3’s horde mode. Waves of PVE enemies on PvP maps. Loved that mode. The add density looks pretty great too, really seems like a “horde” of enemies in the later waves. Excited to play it.

1 AntwortenYou can try it now It rolls on several Autos and SMGs

2 AntwortenA YT put it a certain way.. "If you are still Displeased with Bungie, this Update will not Bring you back" Hes right. My Expectations were Zero..and some how they move to Negative 5.
-
It ain't a "horde mode" People need to get their definitions sorted.
-
4 AntwortenWe got horde modes every season and expansion. Archon forge, prison of elders, blind well, escalation protocol, altars of sorrow, terminal overload. It’s just lazy development and why destiny 2 will be disbanded by Sony. Destiny died with its commander lance reddick.

123 AntwortenIt's funny how these post of praise pop up.... normally after an announcement. It's almost like it's an inside job. This happens every single time.
-
Harder modes imo get boring fast. Plus sharde lives will make it less likely I'll play it.
-
2 AntwortenIf there craft weapons. I would grind for it. If not, i will wait for final shape.

6 AntwortenI didn't watch the stream, so all I know is what I've read here, and none of it sounds bad to me. There's no need to create all new maps for it either. I'm one person in the group who think the game is at rock bottom right now, but I want to try it.
-
When does it start? Sounds like it might be fun.
-
Have fun. Looks very basic and boring to me.
-
I hope they add Deepsight Harmonizers as a reward.
-
23 AntwortenMe too and ignore the negative Nancy replies. Some of them are just perpetually miserable over a video game. It’s difficult to take them seriously.
-
5 Antwortenoh yeah... -blam!- thrilled to watch all the blues piss away shared lives because they can't use cover. it worked SO well in the coil...

69 AntwortenHonestly what’s left of the community will just accept anything now . Bungie is in free fall at the moment . Bungie had to put something out as a filler . Pvp is in a awful mess and there’s nothing on in pve . Marathon is on the balance now especially announcing it will be a hero shooter so no customisation. Probably will be heavy on mirco transactions. I’ve played for ten years and log in maybe once a week now . The new activity is new it’s just rehashed content and the repetitive boring mechanics.

2 AntwortenHope is a trap when you play Destiny.
-
Ha! "Expanded upon"! That's a good one!
-
For me I won't judge it, one way or the other, till I see the rewards and their drop rates. If they are as bad as normal. A couple of runs and I'll be done and not care.

2 AntwortenI just wish they chose to use the Gambit maps instead of these Pvp maps making it a permanent addition to Gambit as they both work in similar ways just without the invasion and pvp aspect. gambit: fight waves of enemies, collect motes, fight boss Onslaught: Fight waves of enemies, collect scrap, fight boss My reasoning for the map being garbage, not the mode, the map choice is the deployable turrets and such being so confined as at one point in the stream one of those turrets was just shooting at a wall with it's awful placement. The gambit maps are so much more open and provide more space and options for deployments, along with three consistent spawn for enemies to come at you from, even for sniper units to be used efficiently along with one consistent defence location that we can constantly build up over the course of the game mode rather than our defences being scrapped every ten waves moving to a new location to start over. I will live and die on the hill that the gambit maps would have been a much better choice for this game mode.

5 AntwortenI like how just over night reddit decided “the community” has been asking for a horde mode, when you can search the word horde and literally nothing would come up Nothing to see here, the downfall sieved the playerbase and what's left truly deserves Bungie
-
6 AntwortenYou can play Onslaught right now on Gears of War and see how you like it. Though for some reason Bungie has decided to take inspiration from the game mode as it was 12 years ago instead of how it is now. I guess it’s only fitting seeing as the last time Bungie made a game was 10 years ago.
