Pvp - a sad state of affairs.
So, I jumped on pvp (prefix this with I'm an average player - I don't mind losing) and it may just be me but it's absolutely unplayable.
From the huge lag and desync, to the obvious 3rd party device usage (for example crouch spam).
I generally think to make an even playing field you're gonna have to give mnk more aim assist/revert recoil settings.
I mean, wtf happened.

16 AntwortenCrouch spamming is possible without cheating..? There's a crouch setting that makes it easier. I hate when people say that everyone is cheating... EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF THAT. It's fine to be critical of cheating. It's not fine to make a factual claim without facts

21 AntwortenYou can crouch spam with no additional devices and it's very easy lmao. You literally just change your buttong layout. Or simply play PC. I wouldn't ever take crouch spamming as a sign of cheating lol.

Set your crouch to “hold to crouch” and you will see that it is easily possible to replicate this without and external/internal hardware. Yes people use macros or paddles/buttons on controllers to do this at a faster and more consistent rate however you don’t need to use these to find success while crouch spamming 😭🙏 No hate or anything to you or anyone else who has this stance on PvP at the moment but this is ridiculous. Anyone with even a mild understanding of mechanics and just how PvP games work (not just destiny) can simply figure out how to do this with ease. I use a controller with paddles and set my “B” button to hold crouch and map B to a paddle, this makes crouch spamming really easy to do and MANY MANY MANYYYY people accuse me of using 3rd party software. Always makes me laugh when some random Jim thinks I’m cheating cos he couldn’t aim while I crouch spam him LOL

As for 3rd party devices I agree with you but.. Mate crouch spamming???? Has nothing to do with 3rd party devices. Literally turn on toggle crouch and spam your crouch button it’s really not that hard to do.

Just sayin... 3rd party devices and harsh aim assist on controller are simply carelessness by the dev. Many devs have adjusted aim assist since it was too insane and they also figured out ways to detect 3rd party devices. But Bungie doesnt care. At all.

Yes, Control. They see me try to cap and run past me, that never go to b and go straight to C or even worse they camp A and don't move. They never try to control heavy and they can never coordinate to control the main point. I do not understand why Bungie insists on objective modes when it is beyond obvious most people are complete -blam!-. Also, there has to be something up with the lobby balancing as I'm extremely average at pvp yet I'm always stuck with the biggest mouthbreathing morons. And of course the joy of joining a game in progress where everyone has super already and we're down 30 points. Reinstate leaver penalties.

1 AntwortenI mean it has been bad for a while now. I think the recent player decline did the rest. At this point, you need to get one of the Voldemort devices to compete. And if you play console, better be on PlayStation because otherwise you’ll be the only Xbox player in the lobby fighting an uphill battle against cross play as well as all the other nonsense.

Question is how long do people put up with it . I played last week , played a few games and logged out . I saw a few people who play a crazy amount ….wonder what they will do .

Bearbeitet von ZZ: 1/29/2024 9:00:45 PMUnfortunately, you played wrong game. Destiny is famous for its PVE contents but not PVP. You can easily tell from Bungie's altitude towards cheaters. It's too easy to identify a cheater nowadays (probably in every other crucible games you can find at least one) since there are just too many of them. Feel free to report them and see what gonna happen. The PVP design is already bad and cross-platform make it even worse. Maybe you can go to some discord group to look for some AMD PC only pvp fight, there you might found the least cheaters (poor AMD gamers can't use ring-1) and if they don't want to sacrifice performance by using cronus zen/Xim. Best solution -- don't play PVP.

Is it fair to say that the PvP teams and their management are not at a level they need to be? I don’t know what their qualifications are but they do not seem to be qualified.
