DPS bug?
So my and another guardian are farming Phryzia, and we are using the exact same loadout, yet I get double the dps of the other guardian. We are using BnS Apex with Recon, using fusions in our legendary (he has Cartesian, I use Iterative), both of us are on well for testing purposes, and I will deal double his damage consistently. Is there some sort of bug that we are not aware of? We are both using double surge mods, he should have more dps due to Cartesian, but we are both at a loss. We do the same exact dps rotation, don't miss our rockets, and we are losing our minds over why there is such a huge discrepancy in damage. Any ideas to help our sanity?

I know there’s a thing where Dragon’s Breath does less damage if more than one person uses it. Maybe a similar interaction is happening with the weapon’s you’re using? I really don’t know, I’m not a DPS strategist.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Flame: 1/7/2024 7:54:17 PMAre you both the exact same power level? Same with your weapons? Do you have the same artifact mods? Same weapon mods? My guess is that you are weakening with a solar grenade/melee with the one artifact mod and he is not.

If it's 75 I have a good guess. I don't think the rotation is the same... they're not proc'ing BnS (50) and you're overlapping your Wells right on top of each other, they're 2nd proc & not getting the 25 after the 1st well expires. Also, it used to be a thing where 3 surges = 0 surges... which was supposed to be fixed. I'd have them run 2 surges then retest, stagger the wells... or makes sure they proc immediately after expiration of the 1st but not before. Have them switch their primary and energy out... retest. Craft a different BnS rocket or reshape it. There's a lot of nuance to truly min-maxed dps rotations. Are you proc'ing ignitions or scorch effects in some way... what artifact mods? Are they using the boss dps one... are you? But from the limited info I have, it looks like it's probably 75 not 100... and they're not getting the BnS or Well buff procs.

2 AntwortenAre you jolting the boss with iterative? Jolt damage (might?) Be fully credited to the person who procced it. Otherwise I can only imagine this as a case where somehow damage is being credited to you somehow?
