Damn Bungie you're getting super lazy with these seasons.
-
This is why guardians need to STOP paying in advance! * Seriously
-
4 AntwortenDon't worry everyone. I'm sure that when we change to episodes next expansion, it'll all be new content.

Recycle simulator.

1 AntwortenSeasons are CRAP indeed

Bearbeitet von Wheelaa1: 12/14/2023 1:07:54 PMLazy... Greedy... Bungie!!! Edit - But don't worry. The Finale Shite will be amazing. The liars said so.

BungLe literally runs this game from their homes, in their PJs. Effort? But effort is soooooo haaaaaaard!!! 😷😭

16 AntwortenOr the oracle engine is important. You should play both and compare the dialog. When the oracle engine is used... that information can't be kept secret. You learn this during the VO of the original. It's like a window... both sides can see through it. Mara...
summoned Oryx, she instigated the conflict... as she has done in previous wars. The information Oryx needed was essentially leaked to the Hive when she used the Oracle engine. And the entrance to her secret throne room is right below the engine.
That's what happened. This is my theory. Riven didn't leave Mara's side because she was "no fun". She split because Mara commissioned the extinction of her people. Killed everyone she cared about. Riven was set up. I do wish they did more than just change the VO though.

The mission literally says run the Oracle Engine again and Petra mentions the curse of how we've done it many times. It was 100 percent intentionally done. The last few weeks had us do a lost sector we've done many times and Blind well we've done many times. Basically this season has nothing new except for the Coil. I expect next week and the coming weeks to have us doing one of the other missions or ascendant challenges and maybe even the strike or Shattered Throne. I feel like this season is to have all of us doing the Dreaming City activities because it's being sunset in Final Shape?
-
Remember bungie is in money saving mode making new stuff is expensive reusing 5 year old missions is good fiscal sense
-
3 AntwortenRemember, seasonal content is paid content. We get 2 uniquely named story missions this week but one turns out to be a 5 year old forsaken mission, that was itself a repeatable bounty mission, and the other is a boss encounter from the current seasonal activity we’ve been doing for weeks now. That’s not lazy, that’s disrespectful.
-
3 AntwortenSony needs to step in because I’m more than certain that The Final Shape is going to be just as lazy regardless of how long Bungie delays it. No idea why they even needed so much money from Sony to do anything if they were making bank of doing reskins and reusing activities
-
1 AntwortenI love how attitudes change. I complained about them reusing the Mars lost sectors and so many people were "big deal", "stop whining." Just saying, maybe don't instantly defend Bungie and think about what leaving the door cracked can lead to. If any of those people are even still around.
-
Same, I just ran that same mission. The laziness and greed has no bounds with this company.
-
I thought I was crazy when I was running the mission, I was like this feels mad familiar.
-
First week we had to go back to the Blind Well. Now we need to do the Oracle Engine mission. For no reason. Yes Bungie. D2 was at it's peak during the year of Forsaken. Now stop reminding us. Especially since you gutted it, still insist on selling it as a DLC, and have no intention in the near future to restore it to what it once was. You guys are garbage at making a game.
-
That’s why I’m not playing, same old content
-
1 AntwortenThis's the single real objective of DCV, no?
-
No reason for $12 price tag
-
What's bad is, the regular one for a DC legendary doesn't count
-
8 AntwortenIt's not even recycled, you can pick it up as a weekly bounty from Petra on a 3 week rotation
-
4 AntwortenHonestly didn’t mind them reusing the Oracle Engine mission, just wanted some more fresh dialogue. It’s a good way to emphasise to those who may have forgotten that the Dreaming City curse is a time loop. The following mission being yet another Riven’s Lair/One Coil pathway after the first step of this weeks quest already required running 3 pathways of the Coil is beyond ridiculous though.
-
3 AntwortenWell, a lot of people, me included, talk about how good Forsaken was. Now all of a sudden, we don't want to have to touch it again. Just shut the servers off Bungie. We'll all miss the game. Some people will even beg for it back. You can sell that guarantee to Sony to make up the lost sales.
-
What I found interesting, and a little disappointing, is that prior to running the mission I stopped and picked up the Oracle bounty that required the running of the mission. Once I completed the story run of the mission I discovered that it did not complete the bounty. For some strange reason the story version does not meet the bounty version even though they are exactly the same. Go figure!!
-
2 AntwortenGotta save money somehow so Sony doesn’t take over and sack all the suits who are running this scam
-
5 AntwortenI guess in about one or two weeks we are gonna run the ascendant challenge, make sure to have your Tincture of Queensfoil ready!
-
Better start showing some gratitude and appreciation for the entire recycled mission. They’ll take the huff and not bother doing anything next time.
