Allow players to turn off matchmaking for PvE
Strikes and seasonal activities. I want the ability to solo queue into the low difficulty variants.

7 Antwortenthey need actual developers instead of accountants. But yeah this is Matchmaking griefing of players, I cant complete activity designed for 3 people since i cant shoot 2 unstoppable champions at the same time with scout rifle.

is not griefing look you artifact for champs you need use and look nightfall and what for champ is example unstop / overload and use right weapons don't use wrong 1 example weapon anti-barrier don't use it in this nightfall like i said unstop and overload so is not bungie fault / you are use wrong artifact and weapons what challenge are to use is example look first challenge what they say use and but correct stuff on and you're set go in that easyer

for all xbox players here, I do actually know a way to do that. It works in trials and strikes is all I've tested it in but there is probably more. Sign in with one xbox account. Switch accounts while keeping the game open. It sends you to the main menu on your new account but for some reason, when you do the usual select character and load into activity, it can't match you and (although it takes a while) you can load in solo.

1 Antwortenas i mentioned in another thread, look up Destiny 2 Solo Enabler ... it creates a powershell that blocks steam ports used by D2, preventing anyone from joining onto you. been around for years and i havent heard of anyone getting banned from it (rumour has it that they know about it )

2/3 of the population technically already can, PC has an app and PS5 has the time glitch. They may as well add it, it's not like it's going to break the game any more than it already is.

yeah me too, i wanna solo queue or just be in with one friend to -blam!- around. i started playing warframe cuz i can play with my kid while they play on switch, and it's vastly unsatisfying compared to my d2 experience - except that i can solo queue over there. and bullet jumping but like, i already have transversives. it's basically the same thing.

4 AntwortenThere is a way for god sakes, its called fire team setting, I don't know why you would bring this up in a forum as a suggestion when they have given you many ways of preventing matchmaking in pve. Just put fireteam setting on closed and you can do your silo dungeons and whatever else I believe.

Maybe you can't do it for strikes bit I'm pretty sure it works, never tried it so I might be wrong

Ikr be able to explore potential builds to their full potential without having to rush or low enemy density since there are 3 guardians would be nice without having to deal with champions

But that makes it so you can EFFICIENTLY finish your quests and bounties. That cant happen with Bungie, they need to waste your time as much as possible by making you fight for kills with your teammates! Woooo Bungie

2 AntwortenFor sure this would be useful for bounties and the like and just in general let people go at their pace without having to worry about the speedrunners and such. Though looks like there are a few salty fanboys in here judging from the amount of downvotes on people's comments liking the idea.

This would bring a lot of player engagement. I’m not going to solo a Nightfall because that sounds frustrating and boring, but I’d love to solo a battle ground or classic strike.

4 AntwortenThat would drive up costs for Bungie; every solo activity needs to start an instance exclusively for a single player instead of three, and that costs money (server time and usage etc).

I think they should do this for EVERYTHING, and yes that includes PvP and Gambit. Would be a MUCH better game if we all has this option.
