I want to see it through but after that, I’m logging off for good. I was once a raid Sherpa, PVP playing Trials vet, and general lover of this game, who now logs on for the weekly story beat. After I get through the seasonal horde activity, I get my audio log/cut scene and log off as soon as possible.
I’m looking forward moving away from this game and Bungie as a Developer. I refuse to even install Marathon and don’t care to support the series past Final Shape. What about you guys? What is the single defining thing that made you say I’m done after the conclusion of the light and dark saga?
Edit: As someone in this post fairly pointed out, I did not give my reason for why I will not be continuing to play after FS… I could write a research paper on that question, which is why I asked the community to help me fill in the blanks, which so many of you graciously have.
Instead of a long written post, I will keep it simple. While I enjoy the art direction, story, and great base gameplay, harsh monetization, lack of innovation, and increasing technical problems impacting general quality are keeping me from enjoying the already repetitive nature of the live service format.
