The instructions say that Bungie may not respond back to your appeal. Based on your statement & the fact Bungie hasn’t approved your appeal means they have denied it and you stay banned.

So why not close the request? It says it is still open.

They may have forgotten to mark it closed. Regardless, the timeframe has long gone for them to issue an approval.
