Engram focusing should never cost 5 Engrams, that's absurd.
Introducing Engram focusing was a step in the right direction to somewhat ease bad RNG plagueing the game. But in typical Bungie fashion, it's 1 step forward & 3 steps backward.
Who in their right mind thought using 5 engrams for a single trials, banner, nightfall, or legacy weapon is satisfactory?
Focusing should cost 2 engrams accross the board considering the chances of getting your desired perks are so low that spending 5 engrams on 1 weapon will not be considered by most players.

If Bungie is increasing the cost to focus trials engrams 5 times then I will probably stop playing in that playlist. It will no longer be worth it for us who don't grind flawless runs. This will not likely increase playing time in the way they hope it will.

Don’t focus any, doing that will neuter their implementation That is the only course. Just don’t do it I for one won’t focus nada when this rolls out I’m fine with what I got, any piece cb of gear you get from focusing that is considered OP will be nerfed most expeditiously

If you want to even focus 4 drops of an item it costs more engrams than you get from an entire reset lol.
