I shaved today
Nothing like a clean shaven face after not shaving for 3 days.

I hardly shave ever. Only when I’m feeling a little too judged by societal norms. Unfortunately.

I'd have to shave twice a day to be clean shaven. I would definitely win in a beard growing contest.

I only have to shave the parts I don't allow to grow once a week. I've never had an abundance of facial hair.

The only time I've been clean shaven (since I could grow facial hair) is for the few months my employer tried it out as a new policy. I find it too much of a hassle to shave daily. You are right though, for those few months it was a refreshing change.
