It persisting to show chats from hours ago is lunacy. I don’t want to log out every time I have hate mail that shows up when I pull out my ghost, or callouts from a raid with crossplay players. So anyone that wants me to use text chat has to let me know so I disable it the second that activity is over. The current system is far worse than something like warframe, having a button bound to chat that can filter and delete messages, much better.
