I don't struggle against players using ST0MP-335 when they jump.
I struggle against them when they are good players that practice the game.
Blaming my input device for your inability to instill variety in your pvp sandbox is unwarranted and, quite frankly, insulting.
If you are wondering, no, I don't use ST0MP-335. Used them a lot during Forsaken, then I found more exciting builds that fit my play style.
Why do I care about an Exotic getting nerfed that I don't even use? Because I'm a principled person and this is a stupid nerf.

12 AntwortenStaaaaaaahp. Titan's are getting their movement ability nerfed. Why not hunters? Titans are also having their best pvp exotic nerfed, substantially (range and damage nerf at the same time? Talk about overkill).

1 AntwortenMeh, they are harder to track at close range on controller depending on sensitivity. Higher sense are impacted much less than if you run at the lower end.

You are making a mistake on this one. Controller players didn't complain, in fact I don't think I've seen anyone complain about stompees. Bungie took it upon themselves to nerf them based on some bean counter not liking how widely used they were. Then they decided to scapegoat one portion of the community to have anyone upset lunge for their throat rather than be accountable as a developer. Its been the M.O. and its working wonderfully. Any time there's a nerf, there will be 90% of the threads trashing other players instead of expressing frustration at the people implementing the nerf.

6 AntwortenReally don't see what's hard about paying attention to your dodge CD, they removed the -50 AE so by simply paying attention you have pre nerf version and can live in the air again. Can't dodge up there anyways

9 AntwortenOk chief do me a favour.. play a pvp map that has low ceilings and get a friend to equip them boots with triple jump. Now get him to spam jump where he will bounce off the ceiling and is extremely difficult to hit if you don’t use a shotgun. The end

1 AntwortenThe stompeez nerf is the dumbest one in a while. Controller players had trouble with it on last gen with low fov and low sensitivity. That ceased to be an issue with the sensitivity changes.

Well said. It seriously is such a nonsensical nerf. Not having a constant up time kills any mobility exotic.

Stompees are getting nerfed because they're OVERUSED Bungie likes to provide subjective insights about WHY the Exotics are preferred by so many people, but it doesn't matter why (and they're just guessing) Overused exotics, subclasses, and weapons result in a stale meta

Bungie "we are listening" "ST0MP-335 will now grant the grounded debuff. When taking damage, there is a 5 second delay for your regeneration that requires kills to charge. These kills are 2.5% percent for non precision kills and 5% for precision kills. To balance the grounded debuff, we have increased slide speed and strafe movement by 1000x."

As a console player, I agree. If someone has a problem with fighting back because their sensitivity is too low, that is quite literally a skill issue.

3 AntwortenThey nerfed the exotic that has the long history where its primary purpose is assisting Hunters with jumps the other two classes can make without anything extra? It was a dumb decision in the first place to require that for any class. At base functionality they should all be able to reach the same heights and spaces without an exotic assist. I have no idea how that nerf was a need in any regard whatsoever. That's ridiculous to me.
