I think you hit Jolt a bit too hard. It's already not doing super great vs. Neomuna adds.

4 AntwortenI think it needs to be toned down in low levels but cranked up in high levels. Before arc 3.0 people loved the Trinity Ghoul... For no good reason. Yeah, it wipes wave after wave after wave of ads... Trash ads. Low level red bar ads from strikes. The second you get into more difficult content, it isn't nearly as good. The same is true of jolt. At low level it murders all the ads before anyone else gets a chance to pull a trigger, but it's returns deminish rapidly. Most people if they are being honest hate the new stasis bow, not least of all because it's usually being used wrong. But at least it plays into subclass verbs giving you increased cooldown and armor and stuff like that (even though it's otherwise a -blam!- weapon because of how much it ruins the experience for others.) Nerfing jolt is very neccesary at the low end, it is an utterly horid idea at the higher end. The problem is that Bungle won't tune their skills to the engagement level, something either works or it doesn't.

3 AntwortenThey only nerfed it because they made warlock arc supers jolt targets now. If they didn't nerf jolt all the titans and hunters would cry.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Verke0: 5/4/2023 6:54:19 AMI actually like the change for my arcstrider. It means less kills per melee, therefore more dodges.

Ya I noticed that too. Arc has to be DPS and movement utility heavy to even have a slight chance against Void and Solar in PvE and Bungie always forgets that. My guess is that if jolt under preforms next season Bungie will probably drop the damage a little bit more and make it at least partially contagious, like unravel.

5 AntwortenConsider this though: Jolt can be continually triggered by hitting the same enemy as long as they don't die. Voltshot is an easy to use legendary weapon perk that can instantly reapply it after a kill. Ignition requires a buildup of scorch, or specific abilities / weapons / armour to activate and only goes off in one burst before having to be rebuilt from scorch again. It has no legendary weapon perks to reapply it and requires an exotic to do so. It's more akin to Volatile, but at a longer chaining range.

I knew it was coming, not surprised at all , good things don't last, especially with Bungie

2 AntwortenMy guess is jolt will be the artifact mod next season.

2 AntwortenYa. Just doesn't make any sense. They seenthe forums and still take an anti-commuity stance

2 AntwortenWho cares? Everything else got buffed lmao

Agreed. I thought it was a bit weak, to be honest.
