Nine slots per category was ok back in D1 year 1, but the game has evolved a lot since then. Especially when it comes to the seasonal artifacts, which change every season. I’m tired of having to constantly go to the Destiny app to switch out certain weapons to and from the vault. I wish I could carry every weapon type of each element so I don’t have to break my immersion and use the Destiny app (or worse, go to the tower or helm).
I want to do less menus and more shooting. Another issue is that the game constantly pelts us with engrams, I feel like I have to go to my inventory screen every 30 seconds to dismantle a piece of armor or a weapon so it doesn’t flood my inventory.
How about we just do away with the inventory altogether, and make the vault be part of the character menu that we can access in-game whenever we want? However, there’s a big caveat if Bungie is actually going to do this. It absolutely positively NEEDS to be organized!
Currently, the weapons, armor, and even items are all jumbled together in the vault. They need to have their own separate categories, like in D1, so people can access the stuff they want more quickly.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Sen: 4/9/2023 3:01:04 PMAt this point I honestly don't think they can. Like I legit think they don't have the ability to do so. No insult. No troll. Just how I feel from how they present themselves.

2 AntwortenThe Vault being in our Directory is all I want. If Eververse can be there our Vault should be too.

I wholeheartedly agree

2 AntwortenDoesn't seem like you're asking for more space. I almost skimmed past this thread because the demand is tired. But having vault be a menu tab doesn't sound bad. Guys telling people to use 3rd party apps are hysterical. I refused the entire time.

I believe the vault has to be on a separate location (loading area) because it would make load times much longer and gameplay performance would be hindered for every activity. I believe it is a system limitation not a design choice.

1 AntwortenD.i.M. You're welcome.
-
More space is definitely needed since switching loadouts pulls things not on you from the vault.
-
I just want to be able to save my favorite rolls or crafted weapons and make that roll the default weapon that can be pulled from collections. Also once you hit the power cap and pinnacle cap, weapons and armor you pull from collections should drop at power level or atleast the power cap.

1 AntwortenWish it was set up similar to outriders tbh. You could carry a lot of gear on you in that game
-
Homie, that’s up to you to be organized. I personally have nothing in those nine slots unless I’m going into a raid and need other gear ready. As for your vault, if you keep a clean vault (only keep things you use), then finding things is not hard. Even then, use dim and use the search bar to find things. It’s not hard to be organized in this game, don’t be a hoarder.
I want to do less menus and more shooting.
Amen and Hallelujah. Bungo doesn't seem able to comprehend this simple fact. They keep finding ways to (a) make bad UI decisions, (b) slow down overall responsiveness, and (c) overcomplicate the things we need to manage to optimize our setups. Organization of things like the Vault and shaders is a flaming joke. They've also apparently crippled parts of the API--notice how slow DIM updates, among other things, and how lame and slow to update the "new" bungie.net LFG is. More time wasted, less time shooting.
-
For what? I've gotten 31 1810 armor drops in a row.
-
Wouldnt it be great to also gain access to our vaults while in orbit..Yes we have dim but in-game would also be great
-
While in orbit we should be able to access the vault from in game. Coz all I do in orbit waiting minutes for another pvp game is delete rubbish so my postmaster doesn’t fill up.

Not gonna lie I agree on more inventory space. Because I could be in an activity and be missing out on the right gun because I had to vault it for something else. Or have to pick and choose which ones are best to use for most occasions. Of course I can pick and choose gear I want to use with the app. But I’d rather do that far less than what I have to already.
-
They can't

At this point, I either want the vault built into the collections/inventory (maybe has technical issues) or have guns be able to go into the vault with the loadout system
