3 new glavies this season…
2 exotics and seasonal weapon? Really? I HATE glavies. Never liked them at all. Why are there 3 this season? Idk who’s making these decisions it this is a very poor choice of distribution of weapons types this season.

1 AntwortenGlaives are swords with a better guard. Dont use them as a ranged weapon. The ranged aspect is only good when you need the guard. Also its a new weapon type it needs some more attention to get the drop pool fleshed all the way out.

So your opening statement is factually incorrect because the only exotic Glaive that was added to the game was Winterbite. Considering there are only two new ones I’d hardly call that “poor choice of distribution of weapons”. Not counting the Adept version of Lubrae’s Ruin there are only nine total Glaives in the game so Bungie adding two is hardly anything to cry about.

2 AntwortenI have to disagree with you on this. I didn't much care for them at first either (I'm a rubbish shot with the damn things, lol), but the glaives definitely have their uses. When I run Spire of the Watcher, the Enigma is ALWAYS in my inventory. Awesome with melee for close encounters, helpful to break enemy shields if you have the right energy equipped, and if you get something like incandescent or volatile rounds, they can really make a mess of enemy fodder. If I could only get better at using the shield....

Yeah not a fan of glaives. Never crafted the original 3 exotics even though I had all the patterns.
