21 AntwortenGod, it really annoys me how many straw filled heads here believe that "the story is bad" simply because they don't like the direction of the story is going. Like man. I hate the Dark Souls games by heart. But I don't say the story or the gameplay is "BS" or bad. I only say "I don't like it". For real guys. If you read this and DISLIKE the way how the story develops or the quality of the story varying from YOUR EXPECTATIONS, maybe YOU should stop complaining and play something else instead. Why stick around, when all you do is throwing this mindset of "eh, mediocre quality from Bungie. Why do I even pay them for DLCs" around?

9 AntwortenNot really. I mean the mission was too hard for a story mission I died way too many times. The story is bunk. After everything Rasputin has to die? Totally crappy ending. They killed Cade and now Rasputin, the worst story element possible. The end result is loss of another good character who just got developed into more than a AI that can't talk. HATE this ending!!!!!!!!!

11 AntwortenIt was okay, just like the witchqueen campaign, not sure why this level of work was praised so hard now The story doesn't really hold up if you think about it, why did the ball leave, why leave if it has nowhere to go, and why was Rasputin suicidal I really wish they stop downgrading once fierce and crafty characters like Osiris and Warmind into Voice-over that whine about childhood trauma and love affairs

13 AntwortenDoes anyone want to try to explain how this is the best cutscene of all time? I am seeing people say this, but I have yet to see anyone actually say what was good about it. Honestly, the Witness reveal at the end of the Witch Queen campaign is 100x better than this. This just felt like a cutscene we have seen already before. The pyramids flying in would have been cool if we haven't been seeing them/dealing with them since Shadowkeep. Eramis is boring. The sisters and their Nickalodeon "drama" is not anything special. The traveller leaving and stopping in orbit as it sees the fleet is fine, but it's not like "OH MY GOD BEST CUTSCENE EVER HOLY MOSES!" So, it seems like people's standards are SO LOW right now that they actually think this cutscene is amazing.

I don’t know. I think Eramis taking over the station was a bit from left field. She was not involved in this season at all. Also, how did we not know she was there until she took over the whole system. Once she breached our outer perimeter, we should have known and been deployed to stop her before taking over the whole place. One more thing, if it was so important to stop her, why only send one guardian. Why was there not a battalion of people there to defend the most powerful weapon in the universe? What the hell were Zavala, Ikora and everyone else doing? It would have been a great opportunity to have at least one of them to come along. The world is always ending and those azzholes never leave the damn tower. But I guess logic doesn’t fly in the destiny universe.

there are three guardians behind Zavala and Ikora, and they are wearing D1 armor set? It's not raid gear, but that jacket on the warlock looks like a big duster jacket from D1, without any cool shaders.That or low light level dudes and dudettes waiting getting some bounties. That little bit of detail got me, 9 years and I'm still into this silly game.

He stole all of our donations to the Eliksni, but he didn't stop there! He now stole the Traveler as well! He used the money to fund Eramis' forces and used her attack as a distraction, and then he took the Traveler from us. We've been bafooned and weaseled hard...

A beautiful cutscene filled with incoherent nonsense. The in game story fails so hard at representing lore entries its crazy.

1 AntwortenThe cutscene invalidated everything we did this season. It truly was a repeat story. Build up rasputin and have him killed off. Remove this season and story wise only 2 things would have been different. Clovis would still be alive and whatever info the dungeon lead us too. Imo the only nice part was the visuals of the travler in space. But story wise horrible cutscene

2 AntwortenActually, it was quite disappointing. Bungie should have gone for it and had Rasputin annihilate the Traveler. But no, instead they did the predictable thing. Also, the way the story is written and from the cutscene, the Traveler is a giant PoS. It was abandoning humanity and the only reason it stopped is because of the pyramid ships. It abandoned the Eliksni and F’ed them over too.
