Titans. The OP punching fellas. They are always a problem in PvP. There is always something new introduced every year that makes Titans OP for the whole year, gets nerfed for a week, and then something else way OP to the meta. This has been going on for years. I'm sick of it.
This year they have the most OP class ability as it is spammable with its short cooldown (Because some bozo decided it needed to come super quickly). Mix that with Citans and they are a plague to crucible. Don't even get me started on their storm grenade with touch of thunder.... Tons of people are switching to Titans for PvP because this trend has been going on for way too long.
Bungie.... If you're gonna take 10 years to nerf them, why do you even have the other classes? For the love of the game, please nerf them quicker than what you have been. A month of nonsense, fine. Half the year to the entire year? Come on man. This is getting ridiculous.

21 AntwortenMaybe we should also talk about Hunters, and the year and a half reign of shatterdive, or Raijus Harness, half an hour super that can deflect other supers But they are the first ones to cry when another class gets anything good , the devs even wanted Hunters to have the best Strand abilities, but the higher ups forced them to give it to all classes Eat my storm grenade Hunters

11 AntwortenThis must be why titans had the lowest pick rate in crucible for the majority of d2… And why two seasons ago hunters were pushing 50% pick rate and one of their SUBCLASSES completely outnumber all of warlocks

7 AntwortenYou’re correct! Shoulder charge SHOULD be a one hit kill again. Thank you for bringing this topic to light, I was hoping someone would.

3 AntwortenThis is the General Theme of PvP in terms of Classes based on my time played since D1. Hunter: The Golden Child. Typically the most used class due to ease of use and general play style heavily suited towards pvp game modes. Bungie will often let them go hog wild for months with OP crap and then they'll usually nerf them several times over but not exactly hard enough to make them absolutely non viable. Try as you might, you don't truly want to piss off a majority of pvp players base. (See any super extending exotic, wall hack exotic, arc Strider, shatter dive, Spectral blade, etc...) Warlock: The Middle Child. Typically the class used by some either because they just don't want to be associated with "Hunter main" stereotype or they actually took the time to master the jump and really like it. Bungie will often give them just enough buffs to feel relevant, but if they get anything remotely good enough to dethrone the meta builds in any way, they will nerf the absolute hell out of it asap to the point it basically drops off the map and then they'll spend the better half of a year or more trying to buff it back up to "alright it's usable". (See NovaWarp, Shadbinder, Chaos Reach/Tickle Fingers) Titan: The Problem Child. Now typically there are only 2 types of people who play Titan. 1) you actually like the Titan play style and have no issues hanging with your fellow cape and dress wearing homies. 2) The Titan just so happens to have some OP bullshittery that everyone and their grandma has to abuse the hell out of either because Bungie gave them a clearly untested and broken exotic or they buffed up something they thought wasn't that good but unintentionally made so good that its basically broken as hell. (See Citans, Anteus, Lorelei, OEM, Infinite Striker, Behemoth etc...) That's been what I've seen throughout my time in Destiny. Your results may vary but look deep into your heart, you know it's true.

Really? More nerf talk so it sucks in PVE? What a great idea.

9 AntwortenGive citans a set cool down…. Way longer Remove the ability to spam shoulder charge they shouldn’t have movement on top of everything else

1 AntwortenIf Titan's get nerfed keep it in pvp I hated having to use an exotic to even breathe in pve like no joke only Bubble was good without an exotic for most of D2's pve lifespan pretty much everything else till Hammers got a 50% buff was "Make sure you equip this exotic or else the ability is pretty much worthless"

Bearbeitet von mikeyrox1234: 1/15/2023 4:00:38 AMThere’s a pretty simple solution to the Citan issue… Just increase the cooldown of the barricade while using the Citans Or perhaps make it like the Icefall Mantle. The barricade doesn’t recharge while a barricade is active. Or change the Citan perk altogether. I don’t use that exotic so I’m good with whatever happens to it. Normal and Bastion barricades are fine as is. Storm Grenades are not an issue anymore nor do I think they ever were.

3 AntwortenOP clearly misses Shoulder Charge being a OHK in PvP and I agree!!

5 AntwortenNothing to see here! Cary on! Opens fresh box of crayons… “Blues first…”

1 AntwortenNo they are not op bubble has plenty of countermeasures if any class needs to be nurfed its hunters they are more op and still have 1hit abilities that the other classes don't
-
4 AntwortenLeave Titans and Hunters broken but give Warlocks a broken kit too

Hunter is my most fun person in PVP, I used him for most of Iron Banner because it felt more fun than my Titan, normally I main a Titan. Storm grenades kinda aren't a big thing anymore, I almost never feel like using an Arc subclass for anything. Citan's gives a really short barricade time, which means if it didn't recharge a new one you would die and the exotic would be like many other Titan exotics, useless. Bungie won't see this unless its put on their Twitter page or if you direct message them, most likely they won't see 90% of the forum outside of maybe the Help Forum.
-
Actually we don’t
-
Instead of complaining why not just play titan until they inevitably get nerfed
-
Yeah true, buff shoulder change to ohk. Make them automatically see thru Hunter invis

3 AntwortenThat’s why I am I titan main lol

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von SlingshotNerd: 1/14/2023 2:44:49 AMAhhh Bungie’s Golden Child, the pseudo Master Chief. Bungie will never do anything to harm a single hair on their precious Titans. TTK sunbreakers, Rise of Iron Striker, Forsaken one eyed mask, Behemoth, anteus wards, lorely splendor, and now Striker once again lol Every single damn year there’s always something that makes Titans ridiculously powerful in all content in the game, and Bungie will refuse to do anything for months to address the issues. Also Burning Maul is lowkey the best roaming super in game and nobody uses it, which I find absolutely hilarious.

You can also play as a titan if you want...
-
It’s been this way since destiny 1. What’s the point of having 3 different characters
-
2 AntwortenThe storm grenade is a tad oppressive, but as of the rest of titan stuff its fine, plenty of weapons make quick work of barricades.
