Fire and Forget
Might just be me, but why is the recoil on this thing so atrocious compared to Stormchaser? Maybe I'm just bad I honestly don't know.

Yeah it’s almost unusable for me, even with 66 stability because that stat seems to only work for shots 2 and 3.

Yeah on paper the gun is mega OP. In practice it's basically hot trash. I'll take Taipan over it anytime.

1 AntwortenUntil the recoil gets patched, if you just let the gun bounce up without adjusting the recoil, all three shots in the burst will hit like normal. If you have a good stormchaser, it will be the better gun to use until it gets patched. I would still recommend holding onto a good fire and forget roll since it has Veist Stinger.

Nah you right. The first shot of the 3 round burst tries to jump out of your hands, noticed it right away. I got a focus fury roll at the start of the season and was hard to proc unless the enemy had a big crit spot. Probably just craft a chill clip one for fun since there are better options.

3 AntwortenIts recoil is the same as a normal linear...it kicks A LOT on its first shot of the burst which is a bug.

4 AntwortenJust deconstruct them. Linears are getting nerfed in lightfall so dont waste ya time on a trash weapon. Craft a good taipan instead.

4 AntwortenI actually made a help post because at max stability (for the archetype, which is like 65 or 70) it still bounces a lot. Also the flinch in pvp is awful, like aim at their feet and your reticle will end up above their head.

No no. It’s not just you. It kicks so much that I got kicked because I was missing my shots a lot in Spire after a wipe.🤣

3 AntwortenYeah, I was excited to craft it, but when I actually used against the first spire boss, it was atrocious, think I will go back to stormchaser till they fix its recoil

2 AntwortenThey finally made another aggressive frame linear, only to give it trash mods and unplayable recoil. I’m sure whoever developed it said “ha, -blam!- you!” after he was finished.
