I love this game, but this is unacceptable. Not having at least one new map for both of these game modes every new expansion is crazy.
You wonder why the game is so dry? Because the core playlist activities barely get updated and have no actual re-play value or even loot value.
Bungie makes a great campaign that lasts for maybe a week at most, but the core playlist activities are still in the mud. Seasonal model is old and inefficient

3 AntwortenI literally just posted as a new player about the crazy removal of past campaigns. The game is severely disjointed now and makes no sense at all. Post was immediately removed. I didn't use any curse words but I imagine they didn't like what I had to say at all. Very, very silly decisions. Only a company headed by someone who is truly mentally deficient would remove that much content for no good reason.

I agree that the game lost too much content, the core activities are boring to death and that Destiny should be in a much better state than it is, but you're cherry-picking things. You should've counterpointed your first part of the post with the things that were added to the game in the last years, as well.

The content drip and become less of a drip and more of a southern CA drought as of late. Secret missions, exciting community events, new PVP and gambit maps, new story content that isn't drip fed through the seasonal model. The is exaserbated by poor decisions for things like lack luster 3.0 reworks with overtuning and undertuning certain things, AE being added to PVP, SBMM, and quitter pentalties for a CASUAL playlist. The laundry list of problems, compared to content to play, has become more than alot of people would deal with when there are other games coming out in the fall. Will people come back if they correct these errors and bring back them feels that everyone loves? Yes I believe they will. However work will need to be done to correct the errors of the past. My thoughts on the state of the game as of late.

2 AntwortenDidn’t one of the Gambit maps actually get removed? The game is on autopilot, mercilessly streamlined and automated to become an ATM for Bungie. It is what it is.

2 AntwortenBungie got rid of all the passionate people before Destiny 1 even released. Thats why this game is so bad. Core gameplay philosophies that existed in Halo are absent here, in favor of a more predatory, anti fun model.

3 AntwortenThis is my favorite game. I play it literally daily. But the fact is, it needs a huge infusion of content. Even a bunch of reprised content with reworked rewards would be nice (as long as it didn't diminish the production of actual new content). I feel like they need to put a dent in their profits by hiring out another studio to port reprise content over.
