Why I am done with PvP and Trials of Osiris

Context first, I play at about a .9 KD, I am by no means a fantastic player, but I'm also not total dog -blam!-. I love this game but something about pvp and trials in general ruins the game for me. It is the most repeatable content in the game, yet it is also the most infuriating. I am aware of a lot of the "get good", "just dont do trials", and "nobody cares comments" that a post like this will attract, I will not interact with these people at all because they are part of the problem. Below is a list of critiques generally surrounding pvp and these are just my opinions and this is my take. I'm trying to voice it in a constructive and informative way. 1. The Flawless Pool: Its an ineffective way to split the player base. Players will continue to reset their cards, which results in them not going flawless. Causing them to stick in the non flawless pool to farm KD or do carries, and this causes the experience to remain unchanged regardless if the flawless pool is active or not. This isn't just the people that do it for money or account sharing, there are entire stream communities that participate in this and are built around this ruining the experience for new/not as skilled players. 2. Not having dedicated servers really causes wild -blam!- to happen, the amount of times I've been killed after I've gone back around a corner is insane. My internet is not the problem I play around 15ms, along with 1GB download and 50+MB upload. Dedicated servers would really help this problem. I understand the huge undertaking it would be but connecting peer-to-peer has causes HUGE issues for years at this point, take melee whiffs for example. This is an excellent example of peer-to-peer connections causing issues. How many times have you clearly won a melee fight against and opponent? Or made contact with the melee but nothing happens. This is what peer-to-peer connection gives you. 3. Aim Assist on controller is out of control. To be clear I am not hating on people who play on console. But aim assist should not exist on PC. The fact that you can take advantage of aim assist on PC with a controller makes guns such as: Snipers, Lorentz, Arbalest, Crimson, Forerunner, NTTE, etc etc. These guns have an INSANE amount of stickiness when it comes to target tracking. Devices such as the Chronus make it almost unfair. When enough people get it, It will almost be mandatory to be competitive. 4. There is no real incentive to do trials, the weapons are inferior in pve. The armor costs a fortune to focus. Even if you want to play it, you get farmed by people resetting their card all weekend long. These kind of roadblocks affect the growth metric of the playlist and pvp in general. What new players are going to go into these game modes with these kind of roadblocks? As a vet player with over 6000 hours between both games I, personally, cannot recommend pvp to new players. Or even vets who took a break and are interested in coming back. Below I'm going to list some "solutions" that myself and some close friends of mine that have thought about: 1. You cannot reset your card unless flawless cannot be achieved. 2. If you are in a premade fireteam and someone in your premade fireteam goes flawless you are put in the flawless pool. 3. Opening the chest at the lighthouse should not determine the flawless pool 4. Farming wins on a completed card past 7 wins puts you in the flawless pool, regardless if flawless or not.
