I just spent 1,500 silver bought with real life money on the elect of the empty ornament set for my warlock. Only to find out the purple colours are forced on the gear. And not changed by any shader. Had I known this I would NOT have spent real life money on this ornament set. BUNGIE has to let us preview ornaments with whatever shader we want, otherwise how do we know we actually want to buy it? This ornament set was a complete waste of money for me because it doesn't fit my colour pallette. Ornaments are all about vanity, so either let me preview with shades, or don't force colours on ornaments! Not happy!

Void armor stays void color? Weird.

1 AntwortenThis is in the game. If were talking about Gear andl not exotic wepon. You go to you character then you go to your store. Preview the SET, when it takes you to the preview screen it says what comes in the set. From there you preview each piece one at a time and it will show with what shader you have on. I know this cause I'm always looking for a good Hat for my dude.

Bearbeitet von Hawpy: 10/17/2022 12:08:53 AMI agree that we should be able to preview shaders on Eververse ornaments we don't yet own, buuuuuuuut you did buy the Void-themed armour. For the purple to change with shaders would make as much sense as the fire on the Solar armour being anything other than the colour of, well, fire.

Bearbeitet von BarStool: 10/16/2022 3:43:37 PMThey allow us to do so, but require us to find the set in Collections, and unless it’s a universal or exotic ornament, you would have to have already owned it, in witch case you could go transmog and find the piece there. A hassle yes, but they do let us look at the ornaments with shaders. Edit: for clarifications universal ornaments are ornaments that are not apart of the loot pool. These are bought by either bright dust or Silver. These types of ornaments can also be found in the season pass.

1 AntwortenBungie: Got’em Coach!
-
1 AntwortenFirst, and foremost - Bungie needs to fix the shaders, period. The color triangles don't even match what they look like on the armor. How do I have an all black shader, and there are shades of blue?!

You're complaining about purple themed armour is purple... what?
-
There are other issues that are more pressing than that.

Bearbeitet von BudWizerz: 10/15/2022 10:52:13 PMYou already can. If you inspect your gear, you will find the ornament available available for purchase. You can preview it, along with the effect of the shader. Edit: I see that this solution only works with exotics....

8 AntwortenMy man it's literally armor designed for void so no -blam!- the purple void glow isn't gonna be shaded. You want your solstice glows to shade too?

This stops me buying alot of ornaments
-
They’re aware of this. In the meantime, don’t buy things you aren’t certain you’ll like. There are videos on YouTube that show off ornaments (armor and weapons) so that you know exactly what you are getting. It should be a feature in-game, but for now just make sure to do your research.

1 Antwortenthey told everyone that the purple was unshaderable back when the set released

1 AntwortenYou bought silver. That's where you went wrong in the first place.
