It has done the EXACT same thing since it came out in forsaken.
And has even been nerfed in damage it does and doesnt work with 1-2 punch anymore.
And wormgods does more damage and gives healing and is usable on every subclass .
You are just complaining because you want to complain.
Bungie isnt going to change it because it already got nerfed this season.
Also...it doesnt heal on every melee so you can still easily get killed in master or higher content.
And you need to melee which is more dangerous.

You don't have to do one two punch to get wild dmg, did you look at the image attached. It heals on every other melee so it's viable. When gms roll around this season, it's going to be something that a lot of people try out and stuck with.
-
Imagine crying about something in pve. Downvoted again. Cry about something that matters.
-
Except they wont. Because in master is is already dangerous because 1 stomp does 90% of your health in a GM. So 1 stomp +1 add shooting you is death. And 4 boomer shots means you are dead too. 1 add meleeing you does 40% of your health at 100 resilience. And you need to kill 3 GM adds with melee before you get high damage. AND you need to melee a GM red health add 4x to even get 1 melee kill to start the damage cycle.
-
Except with arc 3.0 hunters can Chain lighting on melee after dodging to weaken groups of adds. These now jolted targets are blinded on melee hit allowing you to get to 3x combo fast and easy. Every powered melee kill gives you health and stacks with the health Liars gives you. Getting to the highest dmg output isn't as hard as you think.
-
Except it only jolts the target you melee first. So it doesnt blind any other targets you melee unless you jolt them too.
-
You dodge, you get lethal current, gives you more melee range and jolts the target, with enough dmg it shocks everything else. Your powered melee gives you your dodge back, if you use flow state melee kills give you your dodge faster too. Dodge again to get powered melee back and repeat. You are correct it only blinds the one target, where if it survived the first melee it's now blind and won't hit back so you can easily get the kill.
-
Another problem. If lethal current's explosion kills the enemy...which it does 90% of the time since it deals more than your melee...you wont get a stack of combination blow.
-
My mistake lethal current does do good dmg, but the point is that it helps to mitigate adds to keep you alive easier and still provide for the set up. You don't even have to start with lethal current and can just melee to get started. Liars stun locks red bars, major, and some mini bosses, even champions
-
It doesnt stun. They removed that a few weeks ago in the patch notes.
-
It doesn't deal more than your melee, check the image for dmg numbers. In higher level activities it leaves adds alive for the set up. On lower level activities it doesn't matter because everything is viable there.
